Hey all!

RuPaul's new reality show, DRAG U, starts tomorrow night!

I loved Drag Race and am looking forward to this one. From the previews, it looks like they take a bunch of dowdy, plain women and glam them up.

Hey, did you all watch it? I liked it, but didn't love it like Rupaul's Drag Race. To me, it's basically like that show Transform Me that came on VH1. The only difference is the hostesses were transsexuals and they tried to fix the women up into women, not drag queens. Hey, even Raven isn't as painful and annoying, which is a good thing. She plays dirty, but I guess drag queens can do that, lol. I'm glad Ongina's drag queen beat both Jujubee's and Raven's because that poor girl got no air time last night!

yeah, it was all right. i feel like the woman who won was just the one who looked the prettiest.

i find it a little weird that a show with queens who challenge gender norms, like ongina and nina, champions such a traditional view of femininity.

the cattiness from raven seemed super forced too.

I didn't like it and ended up changing to another channel during the commerical break. Aside from the drag queen aspect it wasn't any different from other makeover shows. Maybe it'll get better

I wasn't that crazy about it, either. I mean, it was "okay" but nothing to rush to the tv to watch. When they were doing all the promos a couple of months ago, I really thought it was going to be a completely different type of show, not just another "makeover" show. Booooring!!!
