Not surprising the gov would kill those soldiers. An organized military squad could certainly come in and take over the town and no way would the gov risk that happening.

But what hold does he have over all his henchmen? All it would take is one spilling the beans and the town would turn against him.

I would have liked to see a bit of both story lines.

have there been any hints as to how far the prison and the governor's compound are from each other?

Don't know about hints but in the interests of good television you can be sure the two groups will be interacting before too long!

According to the scale model the Guv has, the prison is in eye shot of the town. That must mean the "others" went in the back way of the prison I'd say. All their action must take place on the far side of the prison.

I forget, did Rick and company take the prison without firing a shot? I think the prison is close enough to hear gun fire coming from the prison.

Yup, I predict they'll encounter each other this coming episode.

I don't recall either. But T-Dog did emit a pretty loud victory yell when they breached the fence after they killed the perimeter zombies. That could be akin to when Carl's gunshot led the walkers to attack Hershel's farm.

They were definitely shooting when securing the grounds, Carol, Carl, and Hershal were up in the guard towers shooting down at walkers, there were a lot of shots, if Woodbury is close enough they would have heard something.

Oh yeah, that's right, detshen! Now I recall. Maybe that was just something they overlooked that should've/could've happened. (hearing the shots in Woodbury.) Or maybe it IS a ways away. Didn't look it though.

So who was in the woods watching Carol doing her practice C section? Couldn't have been Merle or any of the Governor's crew after what we've seen...
