I got so tired of the story line of season three. I really hope they wrap it up and move on to something else (as I was hoping for in the season finale but was disappointed). The whole Woodbury/Governor/Andrea arc actually made me long for the farm.

I'm re-watching season 1.

I'm wondering - would the Rick of Season 3/4 rescue the Rick of Season 1 in the tank? After Glen rescued Rick from the tank, Rick asked him why would he stick his neck out for a stranger, Glen responded "one day I hope someone is dumb enough to risk their neck for me...". Things changes a lot obviously but wondering if Rick hasn't gotten away from to much of his humanity in later seasons...

Something to ponder for the next 35 days or so

Right on the target with that observation, hopefully some of Ricks old person will come back out.

The episode where Rick (driving in the car with Michonne and Carl) didn't help the hitchhiker (who was later killed) and then backed up to take the dead man's backpack made me long for season 1 Rick. Hopefully he will regain some of his humanity in this upcoming season.

He let Michonne stay, right? Not only that, they're becoming friends.

Right...Re-watching season 2 now . Basically what I'm noticing is that the Rick of Season "just about" has the same philosophy that Shane had back on Hersel's farm, where he busted open the barn full of walkers - shouting it's about survival and fighting for it and doing what it takes.

It's an interesting study in the deterioration of human beings moral compass over time.
