We'll watch also I'm not ready to arrest, try and convict them without knowing more of the lifestyle. Is it for me? No but what he is doing is no worse than a man having 4-7 different baby mamas in our society that don't live together. They may know about each other but most times there is no harmony which ultimately the kids in those relationships are the ones harmed by the stupidity of the adults.

Read somewhere a couple of years ago 7 out 10 marriages in the USA deal with adultery at some point. So we have no right to throw stones when a lot of us could be living in glass houses eh? Judge not lest ye be judged is good to remember also. We all are different that is what makes the world go around.
I agree with you. Just because it is not the way for many people does not mean it's not right for others. I don't believing in judging anyone either it is not up to us to be the judge and jury.

You know, you are right. Many couples who aren't 'legally' married are much more committed than those who have the courthouse papers. Just in this case, I don't think a man can commit to four wives. I'm not sure a real relationship can work like that. Or maybe it just wouldn't work for me....

---------------------------------------------------
Here is a question. If the one wife with the six kids left him and he had to pay child support, how would he support his other kids?

Exactly ! What if ALL the wives left him and he had to pay CSupport for ALL those kids.

He would keep his zipper up from now ON !

Why are you both helping them by talking about a show on TLC?

I don't agree. TLC has done some good things over the years. And although I think they've overdone it with the dwarf shows, too many and had them last too long, there is some evidence it's helped educate people about dwarfism and made them treat them/us (I never really thought of myself as a dwarf, but I am under four feet tall) more like regular people. Maybe that means nothing for you, but I was quite happy to see dwarfs who are as mundane and dull as any average married couple you see anywhere. When you're like me people will sometimes not want you to be dull. You have to be brave or inspiring or funny or something. I actually like some of that, but it is relaxing when you can just be the guy buying nacho chips or looking for a parking space or being banal in some other way.

That they've become a bit drecky and sensationalist I don't think has to mean they're beyond hope.

Finally watched a bit of it. He kind of does seem like a dufus from what I saw and in what I saw the kids seemed a bit out of control at times. The filming quality felt a bit poorer too. I don't know if I was horrified or outraged by anything I saw, but meh.

He does not come across as a stereotypical controlling polygamist. The kids seem surprisingly normal, they are as crazy as most kids I see in my area (including mine).

I think some of the filming quality was due to the home movies from Mexico.

After the 2 episodes last night I am having more problems understanding the first wife! She has jealousy issues but she is the one that said first "we should see about adding her to our family" when they first met Robin #4. Then she wanted to have more babies but wasn't in the cards for them, they had a miscarriage 2-3 years ago. Kody offers to go ahead with invitro with her and now she says why bother!

Right now wife #1 and #2 have outside jobs I thought only #1 did. But did any of you catch a look at #2's duct taped window on her car's driver's side? They briefly touched on money is tight for all of them then go out and buy #4 some kind of $150 friendship ring! Wierd.

Well like I said I don't feel the horror or outrage many seem to. I'm not particularly impressed by them as wonderful, but mostly it's just not my thing either way. A big part of me says if it's all voluntary and no one is being exploited then meh whatever they want.

IMO ~~ he's a doofy horn dog. Obviously the 1st 3 women can't keep him satisfied, so he's got to sniff out a 4th.
