Gene's the classic example of a decent, classy man who isn't made for TV but whom you'd want on your side if there weren't a big time crunch. Time crunch + camera seems to kill him, which sucked for him on the show. Whether I'd hire him to work for me or not, I think I'd want him as a friend an ally. He tried to step in front of the bullets headed for his PM, but they went all the way through his body.

I thought last nights show (the Fashion show challenge) was by far the best show this season. There was less about the personalities and more about the task.
It was painful though to watch Gene - if that was David sinking like that - it would have been fun to watch. But gene seems like a nice and decent person.
I so wanted Trump after he fired gene and that other guy to either turn to david and say you're fired too, or at the very least turn to david and say you were this close to being fired. I think at this point assuming they keeop the mens team together, the next time they lose david will be fired no matter what - he should have been fired several weeks ago.
I will say the MC for the womens team was outstanding like she had been doing this for years and years

The men's team on that task was a hot mess! Truly a spectacular meltdown.

As much as I can't stand David, he could have redeemed himself a little by taking over for Gene. Instead he skulked off the stage mid-show like the weasel he is. Can't wait to see him fired.

That is so what I was thinking! He just abandoned him and left him to sink although who knows maybe it is all scripted I don't know

Gene should have known better--he's a smart guy. David-not so much so. I never expect anything but an idiot act from David.
Agree with Trump this week.

I think Gene's problem was that he had no idea he didn't have to give every piece of information for each shoe. Maybe no one else on the team knew it either. They would've done well to watch about 5 mins of any online fashion show to see how it was done. I also think, because he was so ill prepared, that this contributed to him stumbling through all the words and explanations.
Like you, I like Gene and think he is a smart stand-up kind of guy! At least he tried. David didn't do anything.
I'm hoping with the men's team down so many members, we will finally see David and Mahsa on the same team. I WANT that show down!!
Here is the online advertisement for this week's show:

I'm thinking either David or the PM on the men's team will go home tonight assuming the men's team loses.

I wonder what was wrong with Kelli's mike (or her voice)? She brought back memories of playing the cornet in high school, when the music required me to stick a mute in the bell and it sounded kind of like a stately kazoo.

She must have a speech impediment. It was very annoying.
