After 1.5 years without cable... we finally have cable (and DVR!) for the fall season. What are some shows that we MUST add to be recorded?

I've already got gLee, The Colony, and Mythbusters. We'll try out anything under the sun honestly. If we don't like it, easy to delete. We don't have HBO though.

depends what you like! We typically start at one channel and go through and program a bunch of series recordings. especially with the new stuff starting, who knows what will be any good. we just give a bunch of stuff a try. you should definitely check out the wednesday comedy shows on ABC. all of last year's shows were great. I know they have added a new one in the mix, but don't know the name. We are definitely checking out hawaii five o.

No HBO? Why have a dvr?

If you have the free On Demand channels, be sure to check them out. Older popular series episodes can be viewed there, and most new ones will be availible the day after they premier. It will save a lot of space on your dvr.

There are a lot of good dramas, but you will need to catch the earlier episodes first to catch up or you will be lost. Foremost is BREAKING BAD, also SONS OF ANARCHY, MAD MEN, RESCUE ME...
