Heh.

I just hope next season is better. It seems like things have slowly been going downhill the past few seasons.

Season 3 and Season 5 were the two best IMO.
Season 4 and 6 were up there.
Season 7 was a let-down, but bearable.

This season is just ... blegh. I must be a true donkey, because I watch it anyway, but it seems like I'm tuning out most of it, as I have no interest in seeing any of them win.

I turn it on because I keep hoping something good will happen. I'm glad they finally got rid of Trev though. He made me want to punch him in the forehead. I don't know why he was around so long. Then Jillian, with the "I only cook Amerrrrkun food!" what's with that? If you're a chef, you have to be familiar with all sorts of ingredients. Who the heck doesn't know what a mung bean is?

Hey Donkeys and Mung Beans!!!!!

I googled it, so now I know what a mung bean is. I've probably had them, but I can't remember. (I'm old, ya know? LOL)

I watched the show last night, and I hope to God my friend's "rumor" was incorrect! That's all I'm gonna say about that.

I am SO glad that whiney beyotch Trev is gone! He was all mouth and no talent.

I wasn't a Jillian fan, but I was hoping it would be Nona and Jillian in the final, because I can't stand Russell. I was glad to see Jillian win the challenge, but I KNEW Russell was either going to make some snide comment (because he can't just congratulate somebody - he has to make a backhanded remark) or roll his eyes or make one of those ugly faces he makes.

As much as I hate to say it, Russell was the best at the "pass". Nona seemed to be lost at first, Jillian asserted herself, but maybe just a little bit overboard, and Trev wasn't in control of the kitchen. It was wrong of everyone not to respond when Trev gave orders, but he needed to nip that in the bud ... like yesterday!

I can't wait to see what happens next week, and despite having a bad feeling about it, I hope Nona wins it. Not that she's "head chef" material right now, but her attitude is WAY better than Russells, and GR can train her. She seems to be more amenable to change than Russell. He has a horrible attitude, appears set in his ways, and whatever he is trained to do as far as interaction with staff goes, he will throw it all out the window and do things HIS WAY. I think GR sees that. Like somebody else here pointed out - GR has gone out of his way to help the other three donkeys to improve - probably because GR can't stand Russell either!

I can't see 'mung beans' without thinking 'bung beans'. At which point, I am no longer hungry for any beans, or anything else.

Jillian, man, like, I am just so glad, dude, that I don't have to listen to that voice of hers, man. It is just not groovy at all. Man, I know she can't help the larynx she got, but like, dude, it makes me wish to listen to NaDonkey from Survivor. Or even listen to Robert's stupid-sounding brags again, dude. Like, wow, that's heavy stuff, because, man, I would have like, volunteered to superglue Robert's lips together. She's just not far out.
