Not that impressed, but I can see it being popular with the Hollywood drama. They certainly won't be short on storylines.
I still can't believe they nixed the NY/original. Heard a rumor that it was so it wouldn't pass Gunsmoke as the longest running series or something. Is that true? I'll miss you Jack McCoy.

I'm still disappointed that I will have no closure regarding this show. I loved Mike Cutter (Linus Roache)....understated sexy.
I haven't heard anything about a rumor like that. Dropping ratings and the cost of filming in NYC may have done the show in. In any case the Simpsons is now the longest running show. 21 years. L&O and Gunsmoke are tied for longest running drama. I can't see any other show coming close unless NBC lets SVU keep going
AS for the new show? Wasn't impressed in the least. I guess I'm so used to the way the NY version was. I'll keep watching. Especially since I fell asleep in the middle of the premiere
Have seen every episode of L&O, most if not all Criminal Intent and lots of SVU but this was not good. Really clunky writing. The Lindsey Lohan rip off. I love Terence Howard, too bad he signed up for this.

I think that the LA version will not be good as long as they try to keep to the "Hollywood" and "Westside" versions of LA life.
NBC should've just kept the show "Southland" if they wanted an LA cop drama. "Southland" covered a very gritty and realistic swath of LA life.
