More of the same last night...not much excitement going on. We were led to believe the rookie (Devin) was going to have something horredous happen to him and yet...nothing. That's good but doesn't make for good television. Two episodes left and I won't be upset to see the show end for another season.

Like any show they always exaggerate with the previews, but nothing real surprising ever happens. I mean I don't wish tragedy on anyone, and I don't need to see it, but they shouldn't lead people on with the previews.

I suspect the show is maturing - that sounds dumb but it's only in its second year. When compared to "Deadliest Catch" it darn sure beats Desperate Housewives, Oceans 10.2.1 on TBS or the Best Cake Baker on the Food Network.

Maybe they'll get smart enough to get rid of Rick. And I would rather focus on folks who work like Hugh, Jerry the Truck Push and Jerry DuFrane.

Other websites confirm the natural gas discoveries. That's a whole different series that we Southerners can watch.

Next Sunday looks to be pretty intense as the Ice Road fails.

You know what I thought was strange about last season? They didn't show Ice Road Truckers in Canada. I don't know why except to keep the locals from being too much of stars. Afterall...some of the guys (Alex, Jay and I think a few others) live in Yellowknife.

I suspect the History Channel is trying to raise the bar and challenge the Discovery Channel.

And we fans are left hanging wondering "what the heck is going on?"

Yellowknife River or the McKenzie - either way, it's a very interesting, challenging and a respectable lifestyle I will not chance. I'll stick to hurricances and tornadoes in South Texas.

I think I could scare Hugh.

Once again...no Drew. We all know Alex is done for the season but where is Drew? Wandering around in the snow? Devin seems cool although a little cocky at times...ah youth! Someone gets thrown off the ice on the next show and the previews look like they don't go quietly...but we've seen the previews have nothing to do with the show.
