I've been reading some of the blogs about Paul. It seems he really is a super nice guy. I think Casey will be safe this week with a lot of Paul's votes going his way. Paul doesn't like doing covers, but I could see him doing some David Gray's stuff. Also, someone I just discovered, Nick Drake.
We need to start a Paul McDonald worship thread like we did for Adam Lambert. Lol

I caught that, but wrote it off to his aspergers and tourettes. My sis has aspergers and she doesn't have a lot of filters. She just says what a lot of people are thinking but are too polite to say. I think they all know that about him so they don't take it personally. It could play against him in the voting though. When Jacob got all **SNAP** with his snarky comment, i think that cost him dearly and may have lost his base for him.

IMHO after awhile these reality show people get used to the cameras and forget that the editors are going to find little drama queen moments to keep people interested. They like showing those little human slips and foibles to get the chatter going in rooms like this. Many reality stars have later said that some teensy event was blown waaaaay out of proportion when it was edited a certain way. We saw that last two Project Runway seasons, too.

Jill, I'm jealous. That must have been so fun to see them. Can you tell us how short Stephano is? I'm guessing he's like 5'3 or so. Were they all cuter in person?

Here in Santa Cruz which is a city, but is like a small town in many ways , everyone is talking about James Durbin. It's like when the Giants were playing last October. He is always on the televisions in the restaurants , has multiple fan clubs and virtually everyone knows someone
who knew him as a child. Everyone has something positive to say.

Isn't Nick Drake good? My kids turned me on to him about 5 years ago!

The Grand Magnolias are looking forward to getting Paul back!

I got into a conversation with a young volunteer at our library about Ray LeMontagne. He said if you like Ray you might like Nick. Too bad Nick is gone.
TGM album has moved up significantly on iTunes. I think Paul is going to put out a solo album after the tour.

I am guessing he is about 5'5". Carrie Underwood always looked tall to me on AI but is extremely tiny in person..and maybe 5'2"(if that). Clay Aiken is really tall in person. I know Ryan Seacrest is 5'6-5'7 range but probably wears lifts so if anyone is shorter than him when standing next to Ryan then I assume less than 5'6". James D is tall! Oh and surprise but Simon Cowell is a dwarf! I stood next to him and I am 5'8" tall. He had on boots with at least 3 inch heels and I looked at the top of his head!

They were adorable in person. Haley has some BIG hair! LOL I couldn't guess Stefano's height, because I didn't really have a good point of reference. I can tell you that he is quite handsome!

That is GREAT to hear! He has definitely overcome some obstacles in life to be where he is now standing Maybe Santa Cruz will be featured in the home town coverage if he makes it to the top 3 I think.
