I'd love to hear Scotty and his dad perform a duet. After hearing his dad sing a little tonight, I see where Scotty gets that deep voice.

Basically agree...although I liked The Stevie Nicks, too.

Well somethings were very apparent tonight, the judges picked a very very tough song for Haley, a kinda tough one for Scotty and a no brainer for Lauren and I think Jimmy did the same thing. Also, the back up singers were over singing Haley and Scotty but not Lauren, and we both know Haley and Scotty don't have weak voices...hmmm the fix was so apparent but both of them did well.

Lauren:#1, a karaoke performance full of clinkers, #2, Awful, if it'd been Haley the judges would have raked her over the coals but they gave her a pass, #3, was given a gift of an easy song to sing and still hit clinker after clinker with Jlo making excuses for her. It's so apparent the judges want her in the final it's pathetic...favoritisim is alive. She doesn't belong in the final.

Scotty: #1,Typical Scotty, I didn't hear the 'pitchy' Randy was talking about, but the back up singers sucked and were too loud, #2, much better, I like him with his guitar, #3, crap song pick by the judges but he steped up to the plate and delivered, should be in the final.

Haley: #1 WOW, brilliant as usual, I loved that her dad got to play with her and I thought Jlo was going to choke on having to give her props, #2, tough song choice but again brilliant, back up singers over sang her and again they suck this year, #3, another really tough song choice...almost like the judges are TRYING to sabatoge her but she pulled it off and she should be in the final.

Both song choices given to Haley by Jimmy and the judges were really tough songs, Lauren got easy ones and still blew it. Scotty got some toughies too but again he pulled them off. Scotty and Haley should be in the final but I fear I'll have to listen to Lauren..gag. The sabotaging with the sound was pretty apparent and it pizzes me off.

I do hope its a Scotty Haley final they both deserve it, if it's Scotty Lauren it will be a prop up by Idol producers...no doubt about it. And Scotty will get ALL my votes.

I wonder if the Idol producers think we, the American public are that stupid.

Scotty will get ALL my votes.

Me too. I'm voting online, where the maximum number of times you can vote is 50. My dog is used to my taking her out to ruin every time at this hour and is not so patiently waiting for me to vote 50 times before we go.

I wonder if Haley's audition from last season is anywhere on the internet. I'd be interested in seeing her performance and exactly what the judges said to her.

I loved Wail-ee's version of Rihanna. That was a great performance. And that comes from someone *me, who cannot stand Wail-ee. IMO, she took the first two rounds. Her Led Zep was weak tho!

I thought it was cool to let her father play the gee-tar with her. Kudos to the producers on that one.

Now we need to hear Scotty sing with his father. I think Scotty will do well in the industry. I can see him at age 51 still making faces.

Ah, Lauren, I wanted her to win, but now, I am not so sure. I still like her the best, I just don't know if she deserves it.

I kept watching Scotty to see if he made faces like some were saying. I thought it was kind of funny to look for his funny faces and how he held the mike. Something I never would have thought of before reading this thread.

Anyway, good luck to all three very young and sometimes very talented singers.

I agree. It was too karaoke and just too hard to hear when she was running around the judges.

I kind of thought she acted like she had already won it at one point, but that is just my perceptions of her.

Pretty amazed at the comments. I went into tonight fairly unbiased, maybe leaning towards Lauren, who did great.

This was the absolute best night for Haley IMO. I thought she was awesome. The Alanis song was out of this world.

This is a girl that can do Adelle, Alanis, Metal, Jazz, Beyonce, Janis. She touched me in a way that Tyler only dreams of

Haley wins this contest, hands down.

#1 Haley

#2 Lauren

#3 Scotty

But as I've said before, they are all winners, and all will be successful.

Great job to all.

Having taken some time to reflect on it, I've confirmed that I'm a Haley backer.
