Iggy Pop is a legend, but NOT what an AI audience wants or appreciates. I was cracking up.

Why do they need a celebrity anyway? What a waste of time.

Yeah - and the look on Stefano's face was sad. He must have felt like everyone wanted him to go.

Poor performers never go far - Pia is a poor performer. She can sing soundtracks and demo's but she puts a crowd to sleep, she's dull.

She isn't even close to the best on that competition. There is more to being a musician than being able to sing.
Amen!

Just goes to show that none of the contestants is safe-no matter how great we think they are.

That was sad tho.

And I was irritated by all the product placement and advertising in the show-and Iggy Pop? Ew..gross.

.
I beg to differ. I watched Linda Ronstadt in concert the first year she was with Stone Pony. I was in the front row, so I had a pretty good view. She has a killer voice and she was very pretty. But she was stiff and had a horrible time with moving up on stage, and she rarely opened her eyes. You could tell she was very nervous. But what a voice! This doesn't do it justice:

I also saw Joe Cocker. That dude is the weirdest and stiffest performer I've ever seen. The first time I saw him I thought he was having an epileptic attack and I was worried the medics wouldn't make it on time. He is actually much more controlled and smooth these days.

That is a crock of baloney. There is just too much EXCITEMENT by some of the women on this board that Pia was voted off. Just reinforces my belief that jealousy has a LOT to do with it. "Poor performer" my a$$. So you think Jacob is BETTER than Pia?

Notice how old both those artists are...

Today if you can't perform then you can't sell a show, and if you can't sell a show you don't have a career since live shows are how they make their money.

The music industry isn't the same as it was 40 years ago.

Her boobs do not count as a good show. It's funny, every male I've spoken too about this has been upset, and often times they eventually site that she was the "pretty" one. Pretty doesn't mean you're good at performing.

And no, I don't like Jacob Lusk either.

This gal was a better singer and much much better looking than everyone else. Idol (and other reality The millions and millions of fat women out there will always ALWAYS refuse to vote for the "pretty/sexy" girl because they are jealous of her

This is just an unfair and foolish statement and I am surprised that anyone would be so involved with a television show as to get upset enough to make a remark like that .

I hope the AI experience helps her find that.
I had the same issue with Carrie Underwood. I thought she was kind of cold and unemotional. Am I remembering her correctly? I was surprised how far she went.
