Yikes that was a bit of a mess. Too bad because she was my favorite girl singer. The camera work on her didn't help and then her voice broke. Wonder if Steven sealed her fate by resorting to commenting on her looks.

I totally enjoyed Haley with this song. I disagree with the judges. This is a hard song to sing and she sang it very well I thought. I'm no expert but I know what I like to hear. I also think she has calmed down on the growling but the judges have encouraged her in the past.
Hey toosie-- I can't sing a note--totally tone deaf. I just really like that song too--good thing we all have our own opinions! That's what it's all about!

I am disappointed that Randy didn't call Haley's performance a Hot Mess. haha
I did not like it....except for a very small portion at the end.
(oh and her facebook dropped from close to 10,000 to less than 2000!...that's not good for her!)

This is the first night I've really liked Stefano, and and definitely the first night I've even slightly liked Jacob...but I LOOOOVE Bridge over Troubled Water.

Still, I doubt anything's going to top Casey's performance for me. In all seasons of American Idol, I've been waiting for somebody to do something like he did tonight.

OMG, I FINALLY figured it out! It has been bothering me all season. I finally figured out who Casey looks like. He looks like Rob Reiner's kid!!!!

No one can top Simon and Garfunkel for Bridge Over Troubled Water.
Clay Aiken did a damn good job of coming close and was one of the only times someone gave me chills during Idol.
Jacob now stands at number 3 for me. He did a fantastic job reining it in, and simply singing the song. I really liked that.

Ok I'm in the minority on this but I didn't love Jacob just now. Didn't hate it - only liked it. Also liked that Jimmy reigned him in on the ego thing - but then he looked too deflated.
