At the beginning of the video I posted, Paul says they're recording inside. Hopefully, a duet with Kendra that will be on the album. Rolling Stone says expect an album soon from Paul. I also bought The Grand Magnolia's album. It's not going to be as much fun with Paul gone. I wonder if Paul is under any contractual obligation with 19 Entertainment, and if he has to wait for them to offer him a contract.
BTW - We couldn't help but notice how bored Steven looked last night. His mind seems to elsewhere. His memoir is out June 10th.

As far as Scottys accent--I live where he is from and his accent is hardly anything compared to many here. Many in this area are difficult to understand. It's southern and It's country just like the songs he sings.

Agreed! I was commenting to someone on here the other day that it seems like he sorta checked out and is less interested in the whole thing now. I'm guessing he won't be back for another season.

I wouldnt doubt he seems alot more tone down since top 11 than when he was first aired as a judge.
He makes less bleeps if any or crazy sayings.
Im sure complaints from closed minded folks to the show about his candor sayings is why he has become most quiet judge lately. He was what made this season better now he just vanilla like the rest.

I think Steven marches to the beat of his own drummer literally, as he plays them as well. I hope he keeps his word that he will be performing in the finale if James makes it there!
I've noticed him emoting quite a bit but he does have some quirkiness and then the fact he is 62...maybe he needs a nap from time to time. To me he has been paying attention. I know he is going on tour and that may be in part to appease his band members who were rumored to be upset in him taking on IDOL which could also be a publicity based move.
He has always been able to keep his career going and reinvent himself and I give him many props for that. I think he is stockpiling for retirement and his loved ones gotta love him for that! He still has some fairly young kids. I look forward to his book. I read a previous biography about him and the band years ago and it was interesting. He has always been "on" and good the times I have seen him live! Who knows maybe his next move will be "behind the scenes" somewhere.

I didn't interpret his look as 'boredom.' I think sometimes he doesn't know what to say without being critical so he keeps his feelings close to the vest. He's not the type to just blurt something out without thinking it over like the other two judges do.

I agree that you might be right. I loved all the funny things he said in the beginning.

Me too. I knew he'd be in the bottom but thought for sure he had another week still in him.
