His rendition of "I Can Fly" just touches my heart. He sang that song the way it should be sung. My last group of students loved that song. I wish I could be with them and listen to Jacob sing it. Kudos for that! Missed tonight's show but wish him the best!

I don't see it as a match but I'm sure it will be entertaining.
I read that earlier today and called my husband over to read it. He laughed because I told him last week that Casey reminded me of a Jim Belushi or Jack Black kind of performer....someone fun, someone talented, but not the best actual singer. I bet they put on a good show together.

Now John Bon Jovi is the hot pretty one. James is pretty darn cute I must say too, but way to young for me. Though Steven has 20 years on me. He looks good for his age.
Are you saying what I think you're saying?

Loved JLo's performance, it was very entertaining...but those updated MC Hammer pants are not the business. LOL And the guy in that video clip is so HAWT. *sighs*

Anyway, Im not as excited about Haley as everybody else-maybe because I feel like she benefits from the increasingly annoying Church of Casey crowd.

My Top 3 remain James, Lauren and Scotty.

Spoiler
My heart went out to Lauren. She must think that she's going to win. She didn't seem to believe it. I had gotten to the point where I could not stand Jacob, but his swan song was wonderful. Finally, I thought that was very cool of Scotty to say, "No" to Ryan. Some kids his age wouldn't have done that
.

JLo looks better now in her 40s than she ever has. What's her secret?

Last thought: Do they have Jimmy giving those kinds of brutally honest opinions to make up for the loss of Simon?

gimmee, that was my thought exactly tonight! If the current panel of judges cant be really honest (altho Randy seems to be trying), they found someone who can. And I think Jimmy did a good job too.

Do you get the feeling that the contestants don't like Jimmy very much? LOL

My favorite part of the show was when Ryan talked about Steven's new book, and Jennifer's hit song, and then he got to Randy and said that Randy has an upcoming bake sale or yard sale, something like that. I found that extremely funny in a mean way, of course.
