Stefano gets a pass on Rule #1 because I am going to pretend that he was covering Simply Red and NOT Teddy Pendergast.
I saw Tina Turner in concert and it was the most electrifying thing I've ever experienced. And that includes the Rolling Stones in the 70's. It was amazing. That woman isn't just a star, she's a cosmic ray. If you want to do that song, you had better have it nailed.
One thing I'm noticing - and JLo just brought it up -- they can't hear themselves sing. When Randy was talking about pitchiness - did you hear that? Even Lee DeWyze didn't sound all that good. Kind of off. If you can't hear your notes, how can you hit them? I wonder...

If Casey would just try singing instead of acting Jack Nicholson in The Shining scary when he screetchs he might go far. In the meantime, James is going to get the votes, because he mixes it up when he sings.
Is Lauren really that good? She's cutsey and has a personality, but is she really that good?
My gut tells me that James is going to take this competition.
