She is bad... don't worry a girl will be going the next 2, maybe 3 times (Naima, Haley, Thia). The guys are just that much better than them all.

I am glad Karen is gone. She is the bigger evil of the 3. I am not a fan of the spanglish singing so it is much appreciated to see her go.

AND

You do not attempt to cover TINA TURNER!

Ya can't do it,

you're going to fail,

ain't gonna happen!

Stefano gets a pass on Rule #1 because I am going to pretend that he was covering Simply Red and NOT Teddy Pendergast.
I saw Tina Turner in concert and it was the most electrifying thing I've ever experienced. And that includes the Rolling Stones in the 70's. It was amazing. That woman isn't just a star, she's a cosmic ray. If you want to do that song, you had better have it nailed.

One thing I'm noticing - and JLo just brought it up -- they can't hear themselves sing. When Randy was talking about pitchiness - did you hear that? Even Lee DeWyze didn't sound all that good. Kind of off. If you can't hear your notes, how can you hit them? I wonder...

I was wondering the same thing! Just can't put my finger on it, but she definitely looks different!

I'll make it easy... Here's a list of songs by year. Which is YOUR favorite song from the year you were born? Would you sing it?

Ok, so Fergie got work done and is debuting it on AI. But what the heck did she get done? She TOTALLY looks different. Maybe it is her nose and botox?

Not even Seal could manage a respectable cover of that song.

Speaking of Seal, does anyone remember Danny Gokey doing A Kiss From A Rose? He was as good as Seal in my opinion.

I know most of you prefer Pia to Thia, and find Thia boring, but I actually have enjoyed all of Thia's ballads. She has a very pleasing tone to her voice. I find it soothing. Pia has a great voice, but I have heard it so many times before.

There's just something about Paul. Love him. Maybe it's because he is so damn cute.

Stephano reminds me of a young Scott Baio in Bugsey Malone

If Casey would just try singing instead of acting Jack Nicholson in The Shining scary when he screetchs he might go far. In the meantime, James is going to get the votes, because he mixes it up when he sings.

Is Lauren really that good? She's cutsey and has a personality, but is she really that good?

My gut tells me that James is going to take this competition.
