I like country music, but agree with you, AI is not the place for old style country and people like the first kid last night. That was a bit weird.

The country kid has a great voice, and I look forward to hearing him on the show. Since this year they are going to have the contestants sing in the genre they plan to continue, I think they need to have all the different genres represented--rock, pop, r&b, country, jazz, etc. I like all kinds of music.

The last contestant, Chris Medina, really touched me last night. I'll be watching for him in the future. Hope he makes it through.

I fell on the floor with Tyler remark at the end of that video clip and my partner watched him say it twice last night and thats his new phrase.

I like the judges they are alot of fun but they did let thru quite a few who couldnt sing and I was frustrated with focus of show who will suck and didnt show alot of the ones who made it through.

Yes that country Kid was very good. I see a career in his future. He's got some great voice!! I hope to see him go far!

It's way too early to be thinking about the contestants that are making it to Hollywood there appears to be a whole bunch that aren't getting air time. For example there were 51 contestants picked from the New Jersey auditions, i might be addled brained after 10 years but I don't remember that many going to Hollywood from one audition.

It if weren't for Steve Tyler, I'd be reaching for the remote control... I still might.

Good Lord Lao, chill. It's not good for your blood pressure! I happen to love country music. It's the folk music of our country. I like the stories, the messages, the tunes, and the talent. You don't have to like it. But there are a lot of people out there who do. So, there's this really cool thing on a remote control. It's called the mute button. I don't like hiphop and rap, and not real fond of types of jazz. But it's ok with me if they sing it. I just mute it till they are done if it's too much.

Why does the last person always have a tragic life story?

Both last night and tonight. I appreciate that they're giving us insight into people's lives but at work today some of my coworkers said they were going to vote for the last guy last night JUST because of the situation with his fiance. Now he was a great singer so why not vote on his talent and not his life?

I don't know why I watch these shows oh yeah because tv sucks these days

oh yeah is Randy the mean guy now? I like how Jennifer tells him to just vote. There is really no need to make rude little comments; just say no and move on to the next person

I don't listen to country but that guy is a star, he doesn't need to mess around with AI.
