I like a couple of the women on The View, but not enough to put up with the ones I don't like. And having seen the line-up on the CBS version, I'll take a pass on that. I like some facts with my opinions.
So, did anyone watch?
I watched, and I think there's nothing special about this show. It's not terrible, but it's not exceptional either since there's nothing really new there!
I DVR'd it and watched it later. I thought it was light and funny, almost like real girlfriends just sitting around chatting...except that they are celebs. Nothing spectacular, but not a train wreck either.
You're not missing much unless you like to watch a bunch of grown women acting like children.
Apparently, today's show was explosive. I missed it due to other obligations. But, Bill O'Reilly was the guest and things he said ignited Whoopi and Joy and they walked off the stage. Yes, they walked off their own show! While I know that O'Reilly can stir a person up sometimes, as a guest on that show, he was owed a little more respect than he got when those two morons exited the stage.
I doubt Bill R really cared if they walked off the set or not. I certainly wouldn't have. If they would STAY off of the set, the show would have half a chance.
I missed the premiere episode of The Talk yesterday but I set my DVR for it this morning so I can give the show a chance.
I really don't think The Talk could have done a better job of selecting a panel, it's very diverse & I like each of the ladies individually.
I love Leah Remini! I saw a clip of yesterday's show & she was so nervous! She said that she's used to being on a scripted show so if people came up to her & said they didn't like it she would be like "well I don't write the stuff", but now, if they don't like her it's because they just don't like HER & that's a whole 'nother bag of chips.
As far as JLo being on the show this week, that's Leah Remini's long time best friend.
I watched for 5 minutes yesterday and was going berzerk looking for the remote to turn it off. Very annoying and loud.
