I'm really not surprised by this move on her part; but I'm curious what other posters think of this new Television Series. It will be debuting on The Learning Channel this November 14th. I think it's going to be more of a political statement/endorsement/commentary, than an interesting reality show; I assume time will tell .

I wonder if it will be sponsored with any tea commercials.

I think Alaska is a very interesting state. Looking forward to it.

I always liked Alaska's timeless beauty...I just hope the show is done in a respectful way without political undertones..

LOL.......Let's hope not and pray that the show focuses more on Alaska than Sarah Palin.

Sara is nothing more than a grifter. She never finished what she started and TLC is capitalizing on her lack luster talent.

TLC is nothing more than PBS for idiots.

As much as I love watching shows on Alaska, this one I will not watch just because I cannot stand her voice. Hurts my ears.

I agree, along with a few more irritating qualities about her; but I'll check out at least the first episode to keep an open mind..

I think she probably does honestly love Alaska and with her being a native she's probably pretty good with the outdoors thing.
So I suppose its possible she's just trying to showcase her state.
Of course the flip side is if she wanted to help Alaska and thinks she's a great enough govt leader to be a candidate for VP and Pres, you would have though she'd have finished her term as govenor. As for the show, she could have produced it and made cameo appearances if it was just about Alaska. So I figure its both, her loving Alaska and having a big head and using it to further her career as a...as a....yea well I don't know the answer to that.
I think the perfect VP running mate would be another TV show celeb - Paris Hilton.
(and yes, her voice does hurt, like a dog whistle or something)
