Looked at episode 9 last night. Did NOT see that coming. I was pulling for Robb and his men to get to King's Landing in time to save Ned. I forsee the season finale to be a bloody one. Spartacus season 1 finale bloody? Maybe not but bloody none the less. All I hope is that when that hour is over at least 1 Lanister head is rolling. I don't know about the rest of you guy but I'm a little fearful for Daenerys' life after using that dark ritual to save Drogo. All in all I can't wait for the finale. Shame it was only a 10 episode season

I've waited so long to see what people's reaction would be when this finally happened, and I'll admit, I was rather shocked at how ANGRY people are!! folks, this is NOT your typical fantasy where the good guys always win, the princess marries the charming prince, and all the wee woodland creatures come out for the grand wedding! It's a bloody, violent mess.

GRRM has some major cajones to kill off such a major character w/in the first book (trust me, I swore up a storm when I read that chapter), but that is what is going to make this series so awesome. put aside any preconceived notions you may have had about this show and don't assume anyone is safe. GRRM really goes for the punches. I don't think I'm spoiling anyone by saying that this is only the beginning and it doesn't get much better from this point on. the war is on

Neither did I. Nor did I remember that drinking game he played with Shae and Bronn, I think it was a quicker way to go into Tyrion's past.

Also does anyone else think Cersei comes across a little boring in the show? I think viewers would find her more interesting with her thought bubbles shown. Facial expression can only go so far, her thoughts are involved and can be twisted at times.

In the book Tyrion fights and his father actually tells him his clansmen did well in the battle. Why did they change this? I like the book version better because it shows how Tyrion evolves in his father's eyes.

Yes I was a little upset they didnt actually show the battle.

As for Cersei I dont think she comes off as evil enough.

What is different about her in the books? I'm curious to know.

Lena Headey doesent come off as evil enough or commanding in the show as she does in the book. She seems too soft.
