I Heard that Andy Whitfield is cancer free and getting in shape for two appearances on this show. Then starts training for a second season of Spartacus.
Can't wait!

I don't think that's true! All the news reports are saying that his Cancer had returned and he's bowed out of Spartacus indefinitely. Very sad!

Spartacus: Gods of the Arena artwork revealed
18 November 2010 12:18 PM, PST It pains me to post this but here you go
Spartacus nation, the first artwork released by Starz for Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. The Starz prequel will feature Australian actor
Dustin Clare as Capua.s first champion gladiator, Gannicus. The miniseries begins on Friday, Jan. 21 at 10 p.m./Et on Starz. The heartbreak of all this for me is that
AndyWhitfield's character will be cast with another actor, as he fights an agressive
cancer. Prayers and hearts go out to
Andy, we hope to see you in the arena again. - April MacIntyre»
