I don't find it annoying on the show because it was only in small doses. However, I lived with this girl. It was annoying day in and day out, though. You don't have to be perpetually happy in order to love life.
Some people who are always 'on', be it happy or the perpetual comedian, etc, have psychological problems. They refuse to face the realities of life and suppress their true feelings, like the ostrich with his head in the sand. In them, it is a very bad coping mechanism.
There was a study done, following people from early in life 'till death. Those with a 'naturally' positive outlook actually died earlier. The speculation was that these people tend not to prepare for life's calamities -
perhaps they are a bit sloppy in pursuing education or purchasing insurance or saving for retirement or just in accident prevention around the house. It is like some religious people who somehow feel that God will take care of everything.
This is different than seeing what goes wrong in life, doing your very best to avoid pitfalls, and then with the knowledge that you did your best, prepared for the worst, having positive expectations.
then why are you bothering to post in this thread???
Thanks Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much for being so sweet and stopping by to tell ALL the fans of the show that you hate it.

I don't mind Sue telling us that she doesn't care for the show, but if she's going to post it here she should at least give some explanation. There are parts of most shows that I don't like, but in hte shows that I DO like the good out weighs the bad.
For instance - I will never, never, never forget when the contestants painted that room in a private house by accident.
