She should have told the women that they were being invited to a good old fashioned bayou crawfish boil so that they could wear jeans and (designer) tank tops instead of cocktail attire because no one wants to pinch the tail and suck the head (of the crawfish) in their Versace and Louboutins.
There was no music, no mood setting, no real instruction. And she allowed the catering staff to present the crawfish by placing plastic bags on the table! If these ladies weren't familiar with the ritual, they certainly weren't going to get into the spirit and be appetized by a plastic bag full of ???

She tries to be pretentious lol. They need that kind of catty drama to keep the show rolling! I was thinking the same thing - that her party didn't have much atmosphere but with the time constraints and all lol

That party was so ridiculous! It just shows that these women have no real class, they just don't get it, they think just spending money is enough. That could have been such a fun party if done with some common sense.

I wonder if she had her lips filled a little, it's very subtle, but they definitely look more plump when she was getting her make up done, but they look thinner in the interview part so maybe she just tried it out, and let them go back, or she has some seriously strong lip plump lotion. Also, where did the boobs come from? Did she have them done, or is she just wearing padded bras?

I thought there was a noticeable different with her lips, especially her top lip. I don't think any amount of plumping lip gloss could give that effect. I think she had something done, but didn't want to admit it. On the flip side, it was pretty rude of Tamra to just blurt it out at a dinner party.

Yep cept Gretchen blurts plenty with the best of them. Tamra stated Gretchen had made fun of others for getting thier lips done and then does it herself but won't admit it.

you betcha. Gretchen is THE main one to blurt things out to and about others and does so very loudly.

I had the same reaction. It's one thing to come dressed down for the inevitable splash of guts and sauce but to be in a nicer outfit and get splashed??? Not good. You have a nice manicure and you're expected to manhandle those little suckers?? And finally, not everyone likes tthe taste of crawfish. I saw their point and since she is a casual tell-it-like-it-is girl, I'd think she'd welcome their honesty not be a sensitive baby.

Almost every religion has rules that you "must" follow - and almost every religion has some followers who do it part-time, or are non-practicing, etc. I don't think Judaism is in any different, in that respect. And in this case, I think it's part of her heritage and part of what makes her different from the other women on the show - so she brought it up. But I would be surprised if we see much beyond that, as far as religion goes, on this show.
