I love this show, but last night's episode? That threesome scene with V, Kevin, and V's mom? Just... no.

I have to agree there. You REALLY have to push hard to make me cringe and that was pretty cringe-worthy. I DO have to say that the "sheet with the hole" part of that scene was hysterical.

I have actually had a lot of "cringe-worthy" moments this season.

I realize this show isn't meant to be politically correct and is intended to push the envelope and to be offensive on many levels, but I'm finding this season to be going a little beyond what is acceptable even for a show like this.

Especially when it comes to the baby with Down's Syndrome. I really wish the writers wouldn't "go there" with some of the comments.

And I hate the story line with Frank telling Carl he has cancer. I realize Frank is a POS, with absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever, but that really is a new low - even for him. And I haven't even figured out why he would go there in the first place; I realize he thought there would be some financial benefit for HIM, but so far, all I've seen is that Carl got to go to camp with a bunch of terminally ill kids. Again, I just don't think that story line is necessary; there are plenty of other ways to show what a jerk Frank is without using kids suffering from cancer to do so.

I think he wanted to meet the Chicago Bulls or something like that.

I can see Frank pulling the cancer trick, and I don't have a problem with it, not because I think it is okay to make fun of kids with cancer but because his character is such a horrible human being that it really shows how far gone he is. I think if Carl or one of the other kids really had cancer I would have a bigger problem with it.

I do agree with the Baby Hiram story line being WAY beyond what is acceptable, though, not only in terms of him having Downs in the first place and the way some of the characters speak about him, but with Frank giving him drugs to stop him from crying, and the fact that Sheila even lets Frank watch him in the first place.

I'm also getting sick of every other scene being borderline soft-core porn. I'm no prude by any means, but some episodes seem to have more sex in them than your average Skinemax movie. At a certain point enough is enough.

Also, WHY does Fiona want to yank Carl and Liam away from a potentially great life?? They could have everything that she can't give them, and yet she wants to keep them from that just for the sake of keeping the family in that crappy house? I wonder if there will be more to that story. Fiona usually is the most conscientious one on the show, so maybe she'll pause and think about that.

I dont see any world where Fiona thinks it is a good idea to let Carl and Liam go. Her reason for being is pretty much to take care of those kids. Aside from that, there really is no show if we start letting kids find new homes.

As for the sex it has always been there and it has always been borderline.

On a semi related note. (for those who may or may not know) Jane Levy (Suburgatory) originally played Mandy Milkovich. Imagine the direction that role would have taken had she stayed. She made a comment that her return to the show "souldnt be worked out". I would bet that it was because they wanted Mandy's scenes to get racier and she said no. Just a guess.

Great show, one of the best on TV. i thought the mom scene was hilarious.

William H. Macy is awesome on that show, he does a really good job of making me hate him LOL.

Did you see Fiona's face at the end when she found out the call to CPS was Frank?!?! There will be blood!

This show was always on the dark side, but this season in particular is almost too dark. The only sibling I enjoy watching is Debs ... she's the one dose of sunlight in the show.

But I agree, Bill Macy LOVES playing Frank!

Yes, V is one bad mamma jamma. Holy cow.

And as far as the show being "dark," I'd call it "real." It just shows us the darker side of life that many people go through on a daily basis. kids being brought up in a crappy situation, missing their parents. bosses that abuse their power (her job at the grocery store), addiction (Frank the alcoholic and occasional drug addict LOL), resourceful kids from the hood with ideas on how to make a quick buck, etc.

It's a little too much for me now. I like dramadies but this season is just...too much. I stopped liking Frank when he let butterface die for no reason.

Also, I wish the redhead's boyfriend didn't look so incredibly NASTY. Like he has every disease known to man or whatever. Take a shower or something.
