Or the tide rolling in, along the incredible Cornish coast?

I, too, was saddened to learn that Angharad Rees, the series' unforgettable Demelza, has left us, far too soon...
she had such a sparkle about her.

I believe Robin Ellis lives in London now, and continues to be a successful and highly respected actor.
I love how while Poldark speaks upper class english, they preserved the true cornish accent. I believe when broadcast in Britan it was also subtitled. That might have helped now and then. It is believed to include one of the frew preverved languages of the origional celtic britans.

The last time I saw Robin Ellis was on a Wallendar episode and he still looked great.

For discussion: which Dr. Enys did you prefer?

You create the recipes and put them into a book.

Graham has been gone for quite some time and Robin Ellis has been big in the gourmet cooking thing for many years too. He lives in France because I think his wife is French. Thank you for the link to the LA Times article. I had not seen that.

When Poldark was broadcast in the US, Alistair Cooke called it boring and that it was his most disliked Masterpiece Theater series.

A really good yarn, and beautifully produced. No, nothing like it any longer.
