I liked how suddenly JR was hoisted up on Derek's shoulders! He looked like he didn't know how that happened

They actually do that every season - and it's usually Derek and Mark Ballas doing the hoisting - as they did last night.

Just one of those little traditions, that if you do happen to notice, makes the the whole thing even more memorable!

Oh my gosh! I watched my recording of GMA last night and those guys had such a blast being on there! The fans and the commentators did too. Loved that Carson was there with them too. This group has to be the best bunch ever!! I'm really glad to have watched this year and to have shared it with you guys. It's a date for next season.

Carson was a hoot. He's really good with the ad libs too. Did you see when Tom asked him about dancing with Maks and he said there's always the afterparty. I liked him on Qu33r Eye but I liked him even more on DWTS.

I agree with you guys. Carson has just something special. I would hope we see him next year on the show as a commentator.

The producers do try to add a little humor during the seasons to offset the stress (and sometimes anger).

Carson has been the best stress-reliever and I hope they bring him back. He's just so funny and quite clever, too.

Re-watched the Finale last night, and yes, Carson is so cute & funny. I hope they can find a part of the show for him to be in.
