Ron Artest. I usually like the athletes but I thought his attitude was annoying and he definitely wasnt a good enough dancer to carry it off. In my opinion, he should be the first to go.

Rob Kardashian. Who is he? Someone's brother. (And why are his sisters so famous anyway?) I wouldnt argue if he's the first to go.

Elisabetta Canalis. Who is she? Oh, an actress who dated George Clooney. Maybe she'll get through the first week but I'll bet she's gone by Week 3 or 4.

David Arquette. I was surprised to find that I have a soft spot for him. I didnt expect him to be so real. I hope he survives for a while.
Ron Artest.

No great dancers, the only ones who really seemed to try were JR Martinez (I didn't know him, what an incredible guy - and what a smile!), Ricky Lake, David Arquette and Chaz Bono. The others really, really sucked.
I hope either the NBA guy or The Kardashian brother will go tonight (I didn't even know there was a Kardashian brother, lol).

I enjoyed watching last night. I didn't think any of them but Artest did particularlly bad.

Chaz was an unexpected surprise. I thought he'd be awkward but I was going to vote for him anyway just to annoy the few haters our there.

My heart belongs to JR Martinez tho.

Nancy Grace smiled so much you would have thought she was sending someone to the gas chamber.

Canalis was pretty bad...I found myself wondering what George ever saw in her. Maybe she was terribly nervous but there really was no personality shown at all, not to mention she doesn't have a musical bone in that too-skinny body. Yet another model who isn't anything but thin.

Chaz did have decent footwork...kept wondering why he was so heavy though! Meds maybe after the surgeries? Whatever. I don't see him lasting long...the curiosity factor is over already for most viewers, I'd think.

Totally agree on JR Martinez. I had no idea who he was -- haven't seen a soap in eons -- but that smile and attitude won my heart too. God bless him!

Your right, 2 hours for us is torture, we just can't do it either. I didn't even see an hours worth last night. There is to much "fill" that the show can be made shorter, same with SYTYCD...

Ok, is it just me?, but the band is just so ANNOYING, I hate with a passion horns, saxaphones, just any type of horn, they hurt my ears, and the band has so much horns going on, I just can't stand it.
The singers were awful as well, and I feel like when the couples are dancing the music has absolutely nothing to do with the dance. It is to me like they rehearsed a dance and then just slopped a song on...it just doesn't ever match up with the steps.

I think the show would be ten times better if there was no band to do the songs but a record...It would sound so much better. The singers really do destroy a song. The song with the kardashian guy was the worst of the worst.

Also, while I am on a role, I thing Tom Bergeron is so ugly, I just hate looking at him. I miss Samantha Harris......

I did want to see Chaz though, but I have to say the more I see of him, (while I like Chaz), I am actually finding him repulsive to look at.....is it just me????

gee, maybe I should just not watch this show at all, it just seems to annoy me......

Wife and watched it last night and not too bad.......not too bad at all! Thought we'd be watching more of MNF/Giants-Rams game, but found DWTS season opener pretty interesting!
Sort of surprised to see that Nancy Grace is that chunky, but then again, only have seen her from the waist up at her desk on her show. She was good though! One thing for sure, being chunky sure doesn't mean a person can't dance!
Rikki Lake looked good/danced good as well and she is chunky as well.
The pro soccer player looked darn good and can dance......cool!
There was one gal last night that was really SMOKIN' HOT lookin on the dance floor......just don't remember her name.
As far as Chaz goes, I'll just say "ok" and leave it at that. Any other comments could pi** some folks off!

Good show - Last year, I thought the cast was, meh, and it turned out to be a great season. Hopefully this year's awesome cast (with a few exceptions) will be one of the best ever.
*happy dance* because Derek is back. I love to watch him, and missed him last season.
Mark's hair looks better with some volume on top.
Maks's brother: should we start calling him Mini-Maks immediately or what!?

Cool that Courtney and Coco were in the audience for David. I hope to see his sisters in the audience at some point too. I liked his dancing, though he seemed nervous. I think he will put on a good show once he relaxes.

The few exceptions I mentioned above: The Laker, The Kardash Brother, The George's ex-Girlfriend. The Laker and the K-Bro have somewhat of a fan base. I think the Geo-Ex will be the first to go.

Gotta agree with ya,Ron Artest needs to go. He is so full of himself and he sure can't dance. As for Elisabetta, I thought she'd have some moves..IMO she won't last long. Rob Kardashian, he just wants to be in the limelight since his sisters are all over the place. David Arquette, you could see he was nervous. He may be around for a few weeks if he stays focused.
