That said, anything pre-2003 would stand the test of time in comparison to the crap today. Even the crap stuff that was on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Disney in the 90s is much better than the crap on mainstream television today.
That's the year I would say television officially died.

Twilight Zone
Alfred Hitchcock Presents
Get Smart
Seinfeld
Cheers
Roseanne
The Simpsons
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Rocky & Bullwinkle
Gunsmoke
Shows that Don't
Married with Children (I agree with OP on it)
In Living Colour
M*A*S*H (I think it's a generational thing; I've never known anyone from my generation that likes it, but everyone from my parent's generation does)
Bob Newhart / Newhart (I liked them as a kid, but seem very boring now)
Coach (not bad; but doesn't seem nearly as good in hindsight)
I disagree with the person who picked Twin Peaks as one that doesn't hold up. I only watched it recently and I thought it stood the test of time very well. Also disagree on Beavis & Butthead, which is still the most brilliant show ever created!
Married with Children, Coach, and MASH are great. I don't what generation you are, but I'm 25 and know all kinds of people my age who love it. In fact, most people I know who are my age fall into that category.
3rd Rock From the Sun (Husband and I are currently loving this on Netflix)
Seinfeld
That 70's Show
Golden Girls
Red Dwarf (1985 - my husband watched it for the first time about 5 months ago and loves it)
Those all come to mind as things I still watch and love and find entertaining.
Finally!!! Someone agrees with me about I Love Lucy!! I stopped watching her when she was in first syndication...after Ricky. After a while her pratfalls became tiresome and really if you watched with any regularity and I did for awhile after school, (while my parents were at work) it was the same show time after time with a few funny bits every now and then. But when I heard how demanding she could be to work with and saw her in interview it sealed it for me.
I think Leave It To Beaver and The Patty Duke Show can hold their own..but to be honest I am watching Patty Duke for the first time now cause I wasn't allowed to watch TV, with few exceptions, as a child. Another show that is relevent is Hiway Patrol..I love it how Broderick Crawford is always on the side of justice. And now I understand all the hoopla when he died... I enjoy watching the original StarTrek and The Twilight Zone for the same reason....Just what is that Monster made of??..I have til the end of the show to figure it out..my own little game there.
I agree that the original Star Trek holds up well...although it's a bit "campy" and Captain Kirk is still too horny.
I disagree with those who say MWC isn't funny anymore. I still love that show and it gets me laughing every time I watch it. WKRP is another one I still laugh at.
