I thought it odd that Randal would offer up that tidbit of information at that point in time too. Maybe in a panic he was just trying to come clean beacuse he stood by and watched and felt guilty about it.

I won't miss Dale either, and I hope they burn that RV and go get a shuttle bus or Prevost or something and put armor cladding on it.

Perhaps with Otis' wife.

I'll add that the zombie that Carl harassed was freaky looking. The zombies on the show usually don't scare me, but this one did.

Ha, ha - yeah he was. They talked about him during the aftershow, Talking Dead and how they went through great lengths to show that he never blinks, and that he was the first shirtless zombie?

I finally got my wife to watch a whole episode with me and she had to turn away from the screen after a few seconds of that zombie. "Why do they keep having to show him?"

I know it! I never understood why they would nurse that ailing thing and not just go get something new off a lot somewhere.

unfortunately, i read Season 2 as the title of this thread, and we're in Season 3, so i inadvertently ended up reading and posting in the *Spoilers* thread.

anywho, i have really enjoyed the program, and thats saying alot, because i usually dont go in for hour long series shows. this is actually the first one i've ever watched. never seen an episode of 24, Mad Men, Law and Order, the Wire, nothing like that.

i will say though, that i was a little annoyed at the horror movie license that was taken with the end of last weeks episode, what with Dale being too stupid to react to the situation he found himself in, and more so with the same problem i have always had with zombie-lore: if they are slow, weak, and possibly dealing with rigor mortis, how is it that they can bite through any part of the human anatomy with such ease, let alone a horse or a cow - and in this case, one clawed right through Dale's abdomen like it was wet toilet paper. that whole scene was kind of stupid.

It looked to me like Carl tried to shoot it, but was fumbling while trying to aim, he obviously needed more lessons and practice. I cant believe he didn't tell anyone, he was probably worried about getting in trouble. He really screwed up.
i do not like that kid...or his mom for that matter. my favorite moments are when other members of the group give her a dressing down, like Andrea did a couple episodes ago and like Maggie did after her and Glenn were attacked looking for her abortion pills.

here are some characters who i dont even know their name:

the black guy - (can we have ONE good black character?)
the one who wanted to commit suicide
the young guy who lives with Hershall n' them
Otis's wife (her and the black guy should hook up )

wait a minute...

i bought Season 1 DVD which ended with the CDC in Atlanta blowing up.

i watched all of Season 2 which ended with Shane opening the barn and the discovery that Sofia had turned walker...and AMC announcing that the next season of the Walking Dead would commence in February.

therefore, i am under the impression that we are in Season 3.

What we are watching now is actually part 2 of season 2.

They took a long break mid season. This was done with Big Love, too.
