Did you catch how they played off her dad not being in the show. He died in real life, he won't be back in it. The shows landscape has changed, I thought that Sandy was going to become a new main character, nope. I am still waiting for some new main leads to come on.

I knew she wouldn't do it. She had a terrible, dark thought and quickly reversed herself.
I think looking like Brody makes it even harder on her. But she really is just NOT cut out to be a mother. Especially a SINGLE mother.
I think it's better to know that rather than just be a ****ed-up parent. She should have been allowed to give her up for adoption like she wanted, BUT they didn't know Dad was going to die.
However, I don't see how he's totally capable either.
Anyway, IDK what they will do about that. Quinn seems to look down on her for it.
I LOVE Quinn. He is NOT down with all this killing of innocents and doesn't understand Carrie being so cold.
He must be torn between his feelings for her and how she is acting.
He chose to stay, but I'm sure he gets dragged over there.
Carrie needs him and the show needs him.
He's a great actor. You could see the psycho in his eyes when he was having a PTSD episode or whatever was going on with him.
I thought he series would be doomed with Brody gone.....boy was I wrong. I'm enjoying the show even more now. Quinn is my favorite character.....what a guy....amazing acting. Love Claire Danes in this role....such a complicated character. Her acting is flawless.......she seems to be a devoted mother in real life....saw her interviewed and said she'd be taking her newborn overseas with her to shoot the series. Her awkwardness as a mom in the scenes with her daughter was brilliantly portrayed.
I'd like to see them bring back some of the older cast from before Brody was killed. I want to see how his family is getting on.
Overall the openers were average for me, Carrie is becoming more psycho, she was about to kill her kid.
Good gosh NO! We finally got rid of the family, don't even think about a visit back. The mom was ok (Morena Baccarin), but the kids were uggh. No more Dana, please.
She wasn't going to kill her kid (no TV series this side of Game of Thrones will ever do that), but the fact she could even think about it was to show us how effed up she is. And it worked!
Can't wait to have her & Saul working together again.

Agree. I was a little confused about last night. Why is Quinn being accusing of having a romantic interest in Carrie? I didn't understand that part.

Here is my take on it
They are assuming that he has romantic feelings for Carrie because he didn't fight hard enough (in their eyes) to save Sandy's life during the attack.....if he had stuck around, the attackers may have also murdered Carrie.
IMO, if he had stuck around, all three of them would have been killed. They had only one gun and they were vastly outnumbered. The accusation that he could have saved Sandy if not for Carrie made no sense to me.

Maybe my memory is hazy, but didn't they have a brief thing for a while? Or at least a one-nighter?
