I think that Kane knows that Ian wants to take him down, just like Doyle, just like Sajack, just like Meredith ... I'm not entirely clear that Kitty's intentions are good either. But since he snuffed out Ezra ... Kitty is all he's got.
Early rumors was it was going to be cancelled because of the ratings but now those rumors have quieted down. They left the finale wide open for a 3rd season. I would love to see it.
I don't know who starts such rumors. Do they think that we are naive enough to think politics in this country contain no corruption? Or that you can win over the big boys without some of that dirt rubbing off on you, too?
This is an excellent show. Just excellent. Great actors, great intrigue.
If this show comes back for a third season, I hope they equal opportunity out the nudity because this season we've seen the boobs of every female character. Seriously does Kathleen Robertson get a bonus per boob flash? If not she should; but before this is implemented I want more male eye candy cuz just the thought of Kelsey Grammer's backside will cause temporary blindness.
Nooooooo! Nothing of Kelsey Grammer please. That would be cruel and unusual punishment. We did nothing to deserve that!
I do agree with the lack of beefcake. Way too much cheesecake on this show.
I hope this show comes back though with what one reads of the poor ratings, seems unlikely. There are a lots of interesting storylines still left to explore...would be nice to even have a 3-4 episode wrap-up along the lines of a mini-series.
You gotta be kidding me. Boss is gone? That absolutelty stinks. I loved the show and gave kudos to Kelsey Grammer several times because I didn't think he could pull off drama after being Frasier for over 20 years. Oh well. It was a good 2 years and it went out with Kane on top. Still we're left wondering what could have been if it got a third season
Yea, such a pity, eh. Season 2 ended on a very interesting and high note in terms of plot. They left a lot of possibilities for S3.
I guess we have to be happy Starz stuck by it for 2 seasons. On a network (where it never would have probably even been accepted to begin w/) they would have canceled it after 2-3 eppies right when things started to gel.
Wonder why the show didn't do well? I've never been a fan of Grammer but I admit he did a good job in this role, and the writing as well as the rest of the cast was great, so I'm glad I gave it a shot. On TV interviews Grammer's claimed people weren't tuning in b/c he's Republican, but I'm not buying that.
Maybe it was too hard-hitting and showed a fairly realistic view of politics? But then The Wire was pretty gritty too..
