Personally I found the 1st half of the season disappointing. The Snow Queen storyline I found kinda meh. The beginning of the Queens of Darkness was going down that same road. Last night's episode gave me hope the writers have realized their efforts haven't been up to the standard they set when the show 1st started. The possibility of Emma turning dark has me intrigued (will Hook tell anyone Rumple's plan or tell just part of it?) and next week we learn what happened to Maleficent's baby. Apparently there's more to Snow than we thought.
I don't know about the rest of you but it looks to me like the writers may be picking the Queens off one by one. Meaning the heros help give them their happy endings and then we're left with the heros facing Rumple and Dark Emma in the finale

It has been rumored that Rumpel could be sick due to the darkness of dark one slowly eating him. technically his body is just an empty vessel for the Dark One.
And Emma could be the new dark one! :O
And per the rumor, the journey will take Regina et al back to Wonderland. Thus tying up Once Upon a Time and its Spin-0ff Wonderland. After all, Will is in Storybrooke again for some reason. I have a feeling that somewhat the Red Queen is involved with the search of the author and eventually we will see that she is back to Storybrooke and perhaps we will see her reconcile with Cinderella. Now if we can see what happens to Drizella (the other step sister).

That was a pretty slick twist with Marion. She was funny with Gold/Rumple. This ought to send Regina spiraling down. I can not fathom who she will pick. Maybe Emma.
I kinda enjoyed the back story on Cruella. I wonder if they'll ever explain WHY she's evil, besides "I wanted to."
Kind of jarring that Henry knew Pongo, since we've never seen Pongo in Storeybrooke before.
Cruella's mother said she was always "odd", didn't she?
