I was really really into cartoons, so just picked my favorites:
In the past:
Mighty Mouse, Astroboy, TinTin, and those old black&white silent Paul Terry cartoons
With my kids:
He-Man (by the power of Grayskull)
and Thundercats (thunder, thunder, thunder, thunderCATS!)
These days:
Don't watch these religiously, but very much enjoy them:
King of the Hill, South Park, Futurama

Here's one for all of you Underdog fans, as well as Goofy, Scooby Doo, Snoopy, and other cartoon dogs!

Showing My Age
Bugs Bunny; who doesn't love a smart ass? Scooby Doo; I've always wanted to know what a Scooby Snack tasted like. Fat Albert; how cool is it that you get to hang out in a junk yard ?! Speed Racer; I was in love with Speed and wanted to drive a race car when I grew up. Johnny Quest; I had a crush on Race ), but was going to marry Speed Racer.
The list could go longer: Rocky & Bullwinkle (wasn't Natasha great), The Pink Panther (he was actually our middle school mascot), and Jot (somehow I found that little guy relaxing, kinda like the Happy Trees guy).

I liked Rocky and Bullwinkle too, as well as their secondary Fractured Fairytales and Mr. Peabody and his Wayback Machine. That was some really good humor, some of it went over my little first grade head but my parents sure got it.
And what about Tooter the Turtle (help, Mr. Wizard!)?
I also recall Crusader Rabbit on the Chuck McCann show, but from researching this cartoon, it looks like only kids in early 1960's New York saw that cartoon.

I enjoyed Scooby-Doo Where Are You?, Speed Racer, Superfriends, Josie and The Pussycats, Groovy Ghoulies, Bugs Bunny/Loony Tunes and The Jetsons.
I still enjoy watching them.
