I won't be voting any more myself nor do I care who wins. IMO, Elise was truly artistic. Philip is praised for being original and artistic, Elise is criticized for the same. Her studio version of Bold as Love is fantastic. Both Elise and Hollie have been the resident punching bags for the judges for weeks. Elise has a very loyal fan base, and from what I've gathered from other forums, they are predominantly working women who don't have the time to power vote. On another note, it was good to see that Casey and Stefano again and am glad they both got contracts. Can't wait for Elise's album.

When Philip was rushed to the hospital a month or so ago, he underwent a procedure to install a stent in his kidney - a medical tube which helps alleviate the blockage caused by the kidney stones. Apparently, the stent is very painful. Phillips's dad said he will not have it removed until after the competition. You can tell he's in pain while he's performing. Maybe those weird expressions are due to the pain.

I'm glad that my wife, Skylar was safe. I was about to get a heart attack. Still bummed Hollie is in the bottom, as A.I. is only worth watching with her and my wife, Skylar. Thanks to everyone who supported my southern beauty!

Skylar is a firecracker! Love her! What a performer!!!

I don't understand how that BLAH Jessica can be in the same competition with people who have personalities!!! Dull, dull, dull...yuck, creepy...must be a big pre-teen(with no taste) contingent voting for this nothing.

Elise is a thousand times more of a singer!

I would be OK with any of the others.

I think you two should watch a tape of Louis Armstrong or any old blues singers for facial expressions.....they REALLY get into their music....that's what so attractive about P2(besides looking like Steve McQueen)... he IS an artist...doubt he'll win..AI fans aren't that sophisticated (Jessica BLAH is in the finals for proof)

It isn't about the best voice , it's about the best performer, who will make the most money for everyone involved, who will sell, who do people want to watch.
Jessica has a great voice...and NOTHING else....I sure hope she doesn't win

That's true but he IS the one up on stage and sex appeal IS a factor and he's got it.

And, if I saw him on the street this old head would definitely take a second look!

Anyone notice that in Stephano's act they all wore GRAY....the color P2 was advised not to wear but wore anyway....must be catching on!!

Oh drat - I couldn't watch this week but will try to catch it online when I'm back. Not surprised to hear that Elise went home but I did like her. Is it Jessica, P2, Joshua, Skylar, and Hollie now or am I forgetting someone? I hope Hollie is next to go.

Right on tigerlily. I was thinking the same thing. Elise is not going to appeal to the teenyboppers. I'm looking forward to her album. In a studio environment where she can spin out a song the way she does so well (without the restrictions of the Idol 1-minute rule) she is going to be awesome.

I guess it's going to come down to who knows how to work an audience. IMO that would be kevdawgg's wife Skyler.

I knew going into this week that I was going to be sad, because I didn't really want to see any of the final six go home. I figured the bottom two would be Elise and Holly, though, and I wasn't surprised it was Elise that was sent packing. I must say, though, she conducted her exit like the pro that she is. Love that she rocked out and sang with Steven on that Led Zeppelin song!

Joshua was my #1 for this week as both of his songs on Wednesday night were just outstanding. I'm a huge Skylar fan too. She's not the best singer IMO, but she's a firecracker and just explodes with personality and sparkle up on that stage. I only wish Holly and Jessica could have half of what she's got.

But interestingly enough he is the only one who hasn't been in the bottom three. He has no shortage of fans.

I agree, Jessica is an empty house with only a good voice. Her performanes on AI are only extentions of her singing into a camera in her bedroom, nothing special about her.
