OMG. I think Nicky Minaj must have been standing on her head too long -- and some of the silicone in her breasts has drained into her brain.

She's quoted as saying "I’m sure I’ll have lots of fun with them when I’m guest judging."

Next Joshua and Philip, probably in that order.
I don't think Hollie should go home yet, but she would if she doesn't use that "Big Voice" of hers. I'd like to see DeAndre and Joshua leave next.

Hey, I did quantify it with....if no shattering failure or huge improvement...and it's based on previous years typical 'surprises', not who I do or don't like. Since we know the producers can be fickle....I think they want a girl to win this year and want them to either be another successful country singer or a girl next door look that has enough potential to be groomed to what they want.

Joshua to me can be a very moving singer but seems to have control issues very similar to = Ricky Smith (8th), Jacob Lusk (5th), George Huff (5th), Michael Lynche (4th)

Phillip and Colton while they may very well be quite popular they could easily fall into the same fate others did who were similar = Casey Abrams (6th), Casey James (3rd), James Durbin (4th), Josh Gracin (4th), Chris Daughtry (4th), Danny Gokey (3rd)

Jessica could go the way of other power houses = Pia (8th), Jennifer Hudson (7th) Melinda Doolittle (3rd) Paris Bennett (5th) Lakeisha Jones (4th) Kimberly Locke (3rd)

Skylar comes across as an innocent all american girl and has some chops on her as well like = Kelly Clarkson (1st) Carrie Underwood (1st), Lauren Alaina (2nd), Kimberly Locke (3rd)

Elise reminds me of many who stayed under the radar for quite some time then picked up speed....... Lee Dewyze (1st), Kris Allen (1st), David Cook (1st), Crystal Bowersox (2nd), Blake Lewis (2nd), Hayley Reinhart (3rd) Casey James (3rd) Elliott Yamin (3rd),

But gimme's and my statements that you're wrong arent based on surprises or changes in performances.

Our predictions are based on logical evaluations of each performer's ability and popularity with the voting audience.

Why DeAndre is still there is a mystery to me, he's so bad. Erika should still be there

I agree. She is WAY better than he is plus she is into the music. Floppy locks is just into himself.
But as long as ten, eleven and twelve year old girls vote he'll stay.

Hey, Jimmy was probably a good-looking guy in his day. He's still somewhat attractive. And I think there is a resemblance between P2 and him.
They said he looked like a young Lindsey Buckingham (which he sorta does).

Oh I get that....:-)

What I am getting at is that in past seasons popularity and ability had no logical play in where many were eliminated.

Who is popular amongst C-D posters is different than who is popular with twitter followers, facebook likes, phone voters, bloggers and so on.

For instance, based on the number of followers on twitter, the contestants are ranked, right now, as follows:

1. Colton
2. Jessica
3. Deandre
4. Elise
5. Joshua
6. Philip
7. Hollie
8. Skylar

On Facebook, right now, they are ranked as follows:

1. Colton
2. Jessica
3. Deandre
4. Skylar
5. Joshua
6. Hollie
7. Elise
8. Philip

So on both of those media, Philip is ranked way lower than his popularity on C-D seems to be and Deandre is way higher. In the past where they were in popularity changed each week as well.

Colton and Jessica are at the top in these.....however we've seen so many eliminated before they reached the top spots that there is no guarantee their popularity will translate into votes or the top two spots.

For instance, Lauren Alaina was never a front runner in popularity, yet as others were eliminated she seemed to grow in fans and ended up in the second spot....leaving the far more popular James Durbin and Casey Abrams behind along with Pia Toscano and Haley Reinhart.

I think her success so far may contribute to boosting Skylar up as others get eliminated, especially if she continues to give a good performance. (She could so easily lose her momentum though)

Along that same line, those who wanted Hailey to win last year could very easily throw their votes to Elise after this last weeks performance and give her the push to move up faster.

As far as Deandre....there is no telling how much his fan base will continue to do for him before the producers step in to do something about it. Plus he is the current Vote for the Worst candidate, although they didn't seem to influence keeping Heejun there this past week. lol

Anything can happen, as the past has proven and of course I could be completely and totally off the mark. Personally none of them do much for me and I haven't voted for any of them. Actually I've only voted for 3 contestants over the years...Clay Aiken, Adam Lambert and Scotty McCreery. lol

So take my take with as big a grain of salt as you wish...it's just a logical conclusion/prediction based on past season's trends in many ways, which often do NOT mesh with actual popularity and ability.
