American Idol 2012 (teacher, on tv, show, days)

I'm a Colton fan, but tonight I really didn't like either of his song choices . I'm really not a fan of Lady Gaga and it just didn't seem like a song that he would do as an artist . And the Earth, Wind & Fire song was a terrible rendition of that song .

Now Skylar, whom I'm not a real fan of, did very well in both of her song choices and performances. I would vote her as most improved week to week !

I felt that the rest of the performances were not very good and either lacked emotion and/or personality or were just not the right song choice for the contestants imho.

I agree that there were a lot of lackluster performances. Skyler and Hollie blew me away. They really nailed it. I thought Jessica looked much improved with her hair and clothes a little more up to date. Colton could be going home tomorrow night based on his performances tonight. I thought both of his songs were 'meh'. I thought P2's second song was really good and a surprise. I was in the other room and had to come see who it was.

I like Elise - but I think she's too old for the competition and too mature with her own band all these years. It has to suck to be competing with people a dozen years younger than her. IMHO she would really do better if she got voted off and started working on her AI Album. Witch Tyler will make sure she gets a record deal. Her Zeppelin was still one of the best songs of the season.

I'm proud of Skylar. She has improved and she's got moxie. She reminds me of my girl Reba.

The problem with Elise she's not just older - she's an older woman. Adam was 27 when he competed and it made no difference.

I am hoping that P2 would get bumped off. I was bored with his performances, and almost fell asleep. Seems like he copies and pastes every week.

Colton wasn't great tonight. I'm kind of glad to be honest, as bad as that sounds. But, I just got so tired of the judges riding him. I'm glad he was brought down to reality tonight. I sound so mean I'm sorry lol.

Only teenage girls who sends lots of votes keeps Colton.

Agreed about that song and that she's not a good fit for the show - maybe she would have done better at The Voice. I like her but maybe not quite as much as I liked Haley Reinhart (sp)
