In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if she did it on purpose to make Lisa look bad.
And what role could they have given her? I don't think she would have been happy with anything else than a staring role. And maybe she doesn't realize you can't get away with changing your story when it has already been recorded.

I think Victoria could have played the "over the hill" queen and sat next to the Lisa/Trump king (which really didn't work, IMO). King Trump (Lisa) could have banished her to death, and then taken up with the Lady Godiva (Dyan...yum!) as the winner of the housewives sword battles argued that she truly had the right to be the new queen!

Most people learn that lesson at a very early age. Penn handled him very well, but he's an adult and should not need to be 'handled'.
I absolutely detest Lisa's bullying loud style. It's a shame that they did not kick her off. I never realized that she was such a horrible person. At what price, fame?

IMO, deaf people seem to have this unbelivable pride in themselves and what they accomplish (remember Marlee Maitlin last season?) Being deaf, and overcoming life's obstacles, is truly something that is difficult, and deaf people (and non-deaf people, for that matter) SHOULD be proud of their successes. However, when deaf people accomplish something, they have this expectation that the world should admire them, as opposed to just assimilating. I worked with a deaf (since birth) girl...and she was the same way. She was like...look at me...aren't you absolutely amazed that I can do the same job as you???
Granted, not being deaf, I don't have that perspective of the world, and can't possibly imagine what it's like to overcome that obstacle. However, other people, with other handicaps, also overcome daily obstacles, but seem to do so without the chip on their shoulders.
Penn, in retrospect, should have asked all the guys to pick a number between 1 & 10. The ones that matched his numbers should have been hypothetically picked to go in the boardroom with him. Maybe Lou would have then understood it.
In his quest to bring attention to himself, and what he has overcome, Lou did more bad, than good, for the deaf community. My guess, and my experience with them, is that they cheered him on. In the end, he just looked like an idiot for "not getting it."

That's a great idea.
Trump knows that his show thrives on controversy and you can notice, in the boardroom, how he manipulates the conversation to allow the noisy troublemakers to stay on. Lisa lost. She admits the idea was hers, which did not fly for an audience consisting of a lot of little kids. She also appears to be a disruptive and difficult person to deal with in a team setting. She would be the logical one to kick out. You can tell she's worked mostly alone on one person shows. What a control freak.
Victoria, I think, found the entire thing unpleasant and left with her dignity. I think if Victoria had had a sane manager she would have been able to discuss her issue with the setup and resolved them amicably. She maintained her cool during the entire process.
It was Lisa who threw a hissy fit and started yelling and crying. Come on, how could anyone want to associate with a person like her? She's just awful.
No wonder Trump manipulated things to keep her.

Lisa was great. She was EXACTLY how a person should be in her role - take charge and keep things moving.
Dayana was also magnificent!!!

Thank you JFKIII for that explanation about Lou. To be honest, I had forgotten that he was deaf. I'm wondering if he uses hearing aids or had a cochlear implant, because he does seem to hear (not sure if it's fully or partially restored). With that background info, I feel terrible for just assuming last night's reaction to being asked to return to the boardroom was some sort of 'roid rage.

I believe he is not 100% deaf...but does have significant hearing loss.

My husband looked this up. He said Lou has lost from 75 to 80% of his hearing. He can hear, which is why his voice is not quirky the way some other deaf person's are.
My friend's husband is legally blind, but can see, close up, and is some IT manager. He started as a programmer, which requires a lot of 'looking'. He is not allowed to drive.

Trump would not like losing her since she is a female Donald clone. He relishes in people like her. It's his style. He even said how much he liked her passion and enthusiasm etal.

I understand.
Some people have money and grace. Often these are folks of 'old' money.
Then, others who have recent fortunes try to adapt this personal elegance.
Trump will always be Trump - exactly as you describe him.
I noticed that he always kept the loud mouthed trouble makers on the show and assumed that he just needs the controversy for the show, but your take, that they are like family to him, makes sense, too. Very ego driven, 'me first' and I don't care whom I have to step on. Cheap.
