I realize this is an old thread but decided to post here rather than starting a new one.

Just binge-watched all seasons of Southland; it had been a long time since I'd seen it and I had forgotten a great deal. When I reached the series finale, I was wishing there was more. I thought the actors did a great job of showing how their characters changed over time (or didn't).

I remember the show grabbed my attention from the get-go and then I sort of lost track in between seasons due to the seasons being short and the intervals between them being so long. I decided to go ahead and get the DVD collection despite not having seen each episode, and I am glad I did.

Oh, bummer. When I saw this thread resurrected I thought for a minute that the show was coming back.

Bumping this thread

Been binge watching this show.

This show is one of the best cop shows ever, on par with Bosch, and is better than NYPD Blue.

This show deserved more seasons, and more episodes per season.

I'm still salty about the cliffhanger we got left on with Cudlitz's character.

For real. 100%

I just saw this post and was like NO WAY they brought it back?! Then I saw how old it was. I gotta rewatch it.
I love the cinematography in this show, it makes it feel so raw and authentic.
