I like this show a lot. But I don't know maybe Ryan was telling him the truth and Jeff is hurting financially and is taking it out on the wrong person?

That could be. Jeff hates answering to anyone particularly clients. He loves to do flips because he does what he wants and answers to no one. He may be taking it out on Ryan a bit because he sees Ryan is doing well in these tough times while Jeff is struggling. Ryan has a great home, a significant other and now a child. Jeff has no one in his life but Jenny and Zoila and they are his employees. He is making a big deal over some of the little things that Ryan has done (like not sharing work) and on top of that, Ryan is flaunting his good times. I feel badly for Jeff. Jay

hmmmm..........I don't know...............pretty shady of Ryan to be pointing internet hits intended for Jeff to his(Ryan's) own site. Then there was the magazine spread where nothing was mentioned about the home being Jeffs,the furnishings are Jeffs and the remodel was done by Jeff. I recall the season they were flipping that house and Jeff was THE major designer of the house. Plus Jeff knows Ryan hasn't been on the up and up about various clients.
I'm sure lots go on we don't know about.
I like Ryan but he definitely seems different this season.

I'm with Jeff on this one. Ryan is scamming him big time. Ryan had to pay a web designer to have his site come up with you type in Jeff's name. Not a coincidence at all.

I loved it when Jeff told Ryan when times were bad all you gave me was the 10,000 garage makeover

To pay for a search of Jeff's name and have it pointed to Ryan's business is shady!
To do a feature article on a house where you were not the LEAD but a partner is shady.

Personally, jeff is weird, but ryan is seeming shady. With the slow down in RE maybe Ryan felt he needed to run his business in a way to shelter his own interests.

There is nothing shady about having internet hits with Jeff's name on Ryan's site. They are associated with one another and are business partners. Why wouldn't he do that? Competitors will use their names as well. Jeff should and probably is doing the same thing.

Did anyone actually get the magazine spread? First Jeff said his name was never mentioned in the spread then he said he was mentioned maybe once or twice. Ryan did the spread and let Jeff know about it so it is not like he did this spread without Jeff knowing about it. Ryan has been in the design business and Jeff has been in the flipping business. If Jeff wanted to be in on the action he should have asked for a piece of Ryan's company. I'm sure when Ryan was telling Jeff about the spread he mentioned to him that his business would be more in the focus. No one really cares who's furntiture is in the spread. The arguement was so petty and unproductive. Didn't Jeff take one of Ryan's client's? The crazy people that wanted Jeff and his assistant to meet them in their PJ's? He told Ryan after the fact. He didn't call Ryan and say your clients are calling me do you want the business or should I go after it. It took the job then told Ryan about it.

Jeff has trust issues and it would be a shame for him to cut Ryan out of his life. Jeff doesn't even trust his own father. Wonder how is assistant (forgot her name) is going to fill when she finds out Jeff was entertaining replacing her with the new blonde. Jeff creates his own drama that we love to watch.
