Default Flipping Out

Has anyone watch this show on Bravo?

I am a little confuse does he flip the houses he lives in or does he just move around alot and flip other houses?

OMG Jeff can be such a b**tch.

I understand he wants things done and he wants it done right but OMG I feel like he degrades his help more than they deserve.

Also I feel like every single small issue of a house or project is such a big ordeal crisis for him.

I love flipping homes but I am sooo laid back. I have some contractors I wish they would show little more respect for the properties I work on but I dont fly off the handle.

I want to catch some flipping tips not watch drama.

I've watched the show a few times and that was about all I could handle. Did you see the one where he went and had lunch w/ his dad? OMYGOSH!! How sad to think that you think your dad is going to scam you. I mean his dad did not look poor but sounds like his dad is the one that got him going in the first place in his career as the dad also owns apartments and such, supposedly. I also saw the one where he and his partner were fussing over who was going to get that one house to live in. He is a HUGE sore loser which really makes him look like a royal loser. I could not even handle watching all of the 2 episodes I did catch.

No I miss those I just saw my first episode last week and of course it bravo so you know a marathon of the same shows either later in the night or the weekend.

I guess I watch it hoping someone would smack him or someone tell there mind. I guess I will have to wait for bravo to start the series from the beginning to catch those episodes sounds like they was good or bad.

I guess I enjoy watching it because it reminds me dont be such a prick or I will end up like that or be viewed as someone like him.

Does he live in his flips til they sale or does he flip several properties at one time?

Smile Love the show!

From what I've gathered, he does both.

I think he generally lives in the homes he renovates for a period of time, then flips them, but he also purchases some (like that duplex in an early episode) that he simply renovates and sells (never lives in).

He has impeccable taste and I really enjoy the show .

I really like the show. Jeff is a bit insane. I don't know how people manage to work for him.

I like the show. It is always nice to watch someone on tv more nuts than yourself lol! Jeff is soooo OCD, he's something. I don't have a clue why one of his employees hasn't killed him by now. He does do a beautiful job at flipping though and those homes are incredible. I believe he buys a home, moves into it and then lives there why he flips it. I am sure that is two-fold. It gives him a place to live and doesn't cost him extra paying the mortgage on the home he is flipping plus rent elsewhere and he can be there to protect the property. Many homes that are being built or flipped or renovated get robbed where people steal everything from large appliances to tools, paint, you name it.

This is an interesting show but I don't think it's going to last that long. Flipping is getting WAY overplayed on television and lots of people are thinking they can do it too. Jeff does have good taste but he's just too spoiled now. There is NO way I would ever work for him...I don't care how much $$$ was involved.

Jeff stays in one of his flip houses for awhile until he needs the money then he puts that house on the market too. Then he will buy 3 more house to flip, he doesn't live in all of them. His business partner stays put a couple of years before he sells the home they flipped.

I couldn't work for him but he does have nice taste! It is over now they just did a wrap up interview with him this past weekend on Bravo.

I like to watch all those flip shows to get ideas about what I need to do here to better sell my home one day.

When I first saw this show I thought I would never watch it again, but when I came across another episode, I was hooked. There is something about this guy. He is very "Type A" but he knows it. On the show he does seem to treat his employees poorly, but if you watch the last episode with the interviews, you see they are all very close. I did not realize that his first assistant was married to his idiot second assistant (aka the trash man). Jeff may rant and rave at his employees but they mostly just laugh at him when he does.

I was trying to figure out the story behind the partner. I did not realize he was gay with a child anrd that he and Jeff were once a couple. Very interesting but I guess that is California for you. Jay

Jeff knows he is a "Type A" as well as OCD and he makes no apologies to that and actually embraces it.

Yes, his business partner is gay and they used to be a couple. He is now in a new relatationship and together he and his new partner decided to use a surrogate mother over adoption to have a child together and now have a daughter they are raising.
