well......what did everyone think?
The one chick(the young one) annoyed me from the get-go and she thought she had the win for sure.........not! Her room was awful!!

I liked the deaf guy's room best. But the winning room was pretty good too.
Wasn't a fan of that particular challenge.

Is this going to be a weekly show?? I missed the rules and such.

She was on her on show called - I think - HGTV'd. It was set in Chicago, and it had a pretty good budget for whatever room she was doing. The show actually wasn't that bad.

I enjoyed the show last night - but I kept getting flashbacks to (what was it ..?) Trading Spaces and Hildie designing someone's bathroom in a bunch of fake flowers stuck everywhere! I liked the winning designers idea of putting the flowers in between plexi-glass and making a table out of it. Very unique. I was glad he won.

I was quite bored by it actually. Seriously. I almost fell asleep the first time I tried to watch it and had to turn it off. Then the second time I found myself tuning out while it was on and missing stuff. lol

I liked the other guy's much better than the one that won, but none of them wowed me like many of the previous white room challenges have.

It looks like there may be 4 more episodes, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15 and 5/22

I was disappointed in this show for sure. I guess having 4 new contestants each week doesn't feel as though they are building up to anything. I end up watching the last 30 minutes each week since it isn't available on HGTV for later viewing, so I feel about half lost anyway. Someone winning for hanging chairs from a ceiling didn't work for me. I like to see design we can use....not stupid artsy stuff.

OT but I finally caught Meg's show. It's called Meg's Great Rooms (set in Chicago)

I like her voice. She added stuff to a client's brick wall. IMO Meg did not pay attention to scale but the client liked the room.

PippySkiddles, Design Star is coming back - real soon too (a matter of weeks I think). So TWRC wasn't the replacement for Design Star. Or if it was an intended replacement, then my guess would be the plan got shredded given TWRC's ratings and viewer feedback. TWRC won't be renewed I'm sure.

It would be good if they made them REAL ROOMS instead of ABSTRACT concept. The way it is, the show is just boring and stupid. It could've
been a really fun show if they wouldn't have messed it up.
