Much more than a beloved character died for me in last night’s Arrow.
No, Laurel wasn’t the only victim of this atrocity. Arrow, the show itself, just jumped the shark so badly I’m not sure it can ever recover.
Arrow is going into a REALLY dark place. Darker than most superhero shows have gone (well besides Marvel's Netflix shows.) This episode was really damn good. It will keep me captivated for the end of the season, something that honestly, this season truly needed. However the question I have is how do they stop Darhk now? He has the idol and can still block the arrows. I have to wonder if Laurel will be the Uncle Ben death or if it will be another like her sister where she is dead but then comes back at least twice... I just want finality with a death in comic book movies and tv for once, is that too much to ask for?

I would think they need to bring back Vixen and maybe get The Flash involved? Otherwise, they're going to have to find a way to at least temporarily stop or bypass his magic. Maybe Malcolm Merlyn will turn out to be on their side after all? Or, maybe Nyssa knows of something that can help? Obviously, just doing things as they are currently is not going to work.

You have Tommy Merlyn's death in season one and Moira Queen's death in season two. They haven't come back from the dead.

According to Cassidy, Laurel is for sure dead. She is moving onto other things
How did Barry (Flash) run away at super speed when he no longer has his power?
(In the cemetery at the end of last night's Arrow show)
I would assume that it took place either before he lost his powers, or after he regained them? The previous Flash episode took place concurrently with a Supergirl episode crossover a few weeks earlier.
