As Disney has described their name-branded streaming service (at least pre-introduction), the Defenders series and its components wouldn't fit with the brand.

And do you believe them?? The ratings for Luke Cage season 2 were pretty good. What Luke Cage and company lack are proper villains which is what Disney can offer.

They can do a Heroes for Hire series.

I'm not sure. Once the Fox deal goes through they'll own 60% of Hulu. That's where that kind of rougher content probably will go.

I was wondering when we were going to hear anything about this show. I kinda liked it. It reminded me of Quantum Leap in a way. And like so many ill fated shows that had my interest, it gets the ax on a cliffhanger. I'm also disappointed that Good Behavior's not coming back. I'm halfway through last season and I was liking it. Hopefully the season ends with some degree of finality

Netflix cancels "The Good Cop"

On a personal note this one makes me sad. It was a police procedural but it had some elements that set it apart from others. Plus it had Tony Danza, Josh Groban and Monica Barbaro (I'd watch her read the TV Guide). I will say it was built for network tv. It wasnt edgy enough for Netflix.

I'll miss it.
