It had a good run and it was fun seeing Holmes and Watson end up in London at the close of last season.
I was actually kind of surprised it got renewed for another season after that ending.

Agree. I was surprised *every* year when they got renewed.

Still gonna miss it though. Really liked this show, and those two.

I'm surprised it was not cancelled before. I lost interest in it about season 3/4.

That's about when I quit watching too. No interest in rewatching or catching up on DVD, but I did enjoy those first few seasons.

I stopped watching after Holmes' brother went back to England. IDK what season that was. At the end of that season I never went back. I think the brother sl ruined it for me. Before that, I really enjoyed it.

Why would they continue to give money to Disney when Disney is now creating a competing service?

The only Marvel series that I think Disney has confirmed for their new streaming service is based around the character Loki.

Late to this discussion but from what I read and understood DIS was not touching any of the Netflix Marvel serials as they are/were at least partially owned or licensed by NFLX too. The Marvel content DIS is taking off are the feature movies in addition to the Star Wars and other DIS content.

As it turns out NFLX is cancelling all or most of those Marvel serials anyway. As an aside they seem to be having trouble finding their footing when it comes to originals they want to stick with. These days it seems if a show gets more than 2 seasons on NFLX it's lucky.
