Damn

They cancel Miami but keep NY ... NY is the absolute worst of the 3 CSIs.

I guess
<puts on sunglasses>
it's the end of an era.

It won't be renewed on my DVR. I deleted the last two episodes after watching only a few minutes of both. Just one scene of Daddy running after Jake once again with a gasped, "Jake! Jake! Come back Jake!" followed by another shot of Daddy kneeling down in front of Jake and soulfully rendering the ghastly repetitive, "Jake, I'm TRYING to understand you! Help me Jake!", has me gagging and grabbing the remote.

I feel better now!

I really, really wish that both "Missing" and "Awake" had been designed as mini-series or had been picked up by USA or AMC or Bravo or some other channel that knew what to do with them.
It's too bad. "Awake" at least had started to give me hope for network TV again.
Silly me.
Awake is one of my favorite shows but I think it was on at the wrong time. Why couldn't they move it to Friday night when the only good thing on is Fringe?

I'm so bummed about GCB. It's the only show both my husband and I looked forward to.

It's all my fault. The ratings went down because I stopped watching them.

It wasn't a conscious decision. They simply faded out of my mind and I forgot about them.

In hindsight, I couldn't stand the OVERacting on The Firm, and Alcatraz was too repetative for me.

I thought the Firm got better as the season progressed, though putting it on Saturday was an early clue it wouldnt make the cut. My gripe is that most of these types of procedural dramas dont get the cancel notification early enough for the writers to tie up the storyline with a proper ending.

I believe that part of that 89% is made up of cookie cutter crime dramas. To me, they seem more alike and thrown together now than ever before. If you don't enjoy them OR reality TV, you are really SOL.

Harry's Law is one of the few shows I watch with any regularity

A couple of British ones that I'm upset about:

Sirens. The first series was awesome, and I am saddened that it was dropped by Channel 4. Apparently, Denis Leary wants to do an American remake, but... No.

Teachers. Okay, it lasted 4 series...es. Series 4 wasn't as good as the previous 3, but hey! If they made a fifth one, I'd watch it.
