Reality shows are cheap to produce. That is their main advantage.
Every person that I have met who enjoys "reality" TV shows seems to have the IQ of an infant...speaks to the terrible status of our education system.

Default Recently Cancelled

I've got so many shows on my DVR, I need a convenient place to go to find out what's been cancelled so I can delete them. So if you hear anything definitive, please post it here. Thanks.

Both "Last Resort" and "666 Park Avenue" are goners, though I did read that they will tie-up loose ends in the final episodes.

According to TV By The Numbers in the link above:

666 Park Avenue ABC Canceled
Last Resort ABC Canceled
Made In Jersey CBS Canceled
Partners CBS Canceled
Emily Owens, M.D. CW Canceled
The Mob Doctor Fox Canceled
Animal Practice NBC Canceled

Sad thing is that about half of those shows listed were halfway decent.

I liked The Mob Doctor.
I really hope The Mentalist is saved.

Which ones? I didn't hear anything good about any of them---except 666. After I read the reviews for The Mob Doctor, which I had been interested in, I didn't even bother.

I did see Partners and Animal Practice. Truly awful.

Looking at the list, I was amazed at how many of those shows I've never seen or even heard of. Other than a sitcom or two, I don't watch any of the big 4 networks anymore. All the good shows are on cable.

Animal Practice was horrible.
Mob Doctor I truly liked
Love 666 Park Ave, bummer it is canceled
Last Resort I just couldn't get into, didn't really know where it could go
Emily Owens had potential, but hated her narration and self deprecation
Made in Jersey only made two episodes?
Partners, never heard of it.

Never saw Last Resort or Made in Jersey...neither sounded good, from what I heard about them. Animal Practice, Mob Doctor and 666 Park Avenue were such bad shows that cancellation was the only way to go. Emily Owens had its moments, but not enough...it was a bit boring. Partners I watched occasionally, had its good points, but in certain ways it just didn't work very well. Almost all of the new shows this fall were uninspired and lacked originality. There will be more cancellations coming later, for sure!
