NOOOOOOOOO!

Nashville has become practically my favorite show. It was so great having something to watch that was (even though admittedly soap-y) about relationships, families, and seemed to want to delve into what happens when we and those around us make bad decisions.

I am so sick of all of what I call the shoot/run/hide/shoot shows out there right now, let alone the ones that start out with a great, mysterious premise and then peter out before the mystery is solved. Why can't they leave us a few shows that are just engaging have interesting characters and relationships, and are simply fun to watch?

This concludes the 16-season run of the CSI franchise. It had a great run.

I question CBS' decision to cancel CSI: Miami and CSI: NY, both top-rated programs that were cancelled in their peak.

Ever since the Bold and the beautiful included the transgender issue the show has gone down so much. People are sick of watching TV and it being an extension of the liberal policies to be pushed down our throats at times of relaxing and not being bothered with Washington policies.

Maybe other writers will learn from this but I doubt it.
You can always watch reruns of "Little House on the Prairie" and "Touched by an Angel". No chance then of being offended by anything that might challenge your exclusive world view.

"Miami" was a bit if a headscratcher at the time

I guess they already watch less and that's why the shows are getting cancelled. More liberals out of work in Hollywood.

I wasn't offended and I still watched but I assume many are getting sick and tired and loose their interest. Nothing to do with being offended or not able to handle it.

Just many people want to relax and not being pushed these liberals policies through their throats on every show and it shows that many of these types of shows are axed so fast so the writers and actors didn't seem to gain anything from it.

CBS promos were calling it the most watched show in the world at the time. I am guessing the lead actors would have been due for larger salery increases than advertising for soap could overcome

Perhaps you should leave your politics out of it, since clearly it isn't a political issue anymore (unless you're saying that 68% of Americans are liberals). Gay and Lesbian Rights | Gallup Historical Trends

They can and do, but they leave the shows that do that that represent better value propositions given their financial costs, opportunity costs, and potential financial benefits. I saw a survey of Nashville fans that shows that Empire is another series that Nashville fans often like, and it continues into next season. And, of course, there will be new shows to replace Nashville, new shows focusing on interesting characters and relationships.

UPDATED: I think This is Us qualifies as a new character-and-relationship-driven drama, coming this fall.

Why don't I believe you when you say that you work 12-14 hours?
Why do I believe that you are lying?

What a pathetic post.
