Unfortunately, AI hasn't been a good show for a few years now. It's basically the same crafted drama each week and has gone steadily downhill since Simon left. The last season I watched was the David Cook season. I watched bits and pieces of Adam Lambert's season. But I haven't had any interest at all since then.

And it doesn't seem like I've missed anything as all the winners since David Cook haven't really become stars now have they?

As for the judging...unfortunately they have to compete with the "star" quality of the Voice judges...even though the people they are picking have no idea what they'll be talking about. I would much rather watch a show with judges who are talent scouts for record labels than Pop stars who don't write their own songs, and can't even sing their own songs without technical assistance.

What's next? Will Ke$ha be a judge? Bad enough the X-Factor has no-talent Britney on there.

It was already ruined when Steven Tyler and J-lo were on the show.

Well they have to do something; the ratings fell by over 30% this past season, although it did finish #2 in the ratings this year, behind NBC's 'Football Night In America' after spending the last eight years at #1.

Sickening. There's a word that fits. I feel sorry for the teeny bops in today's world if she is popular.

According to TMZ, the judging panel is now up in the air.

Mariah is getting $18 million for this one season of judging AI.

But she was so angry when an AI representative called her and let her know about Nicki that she hung up on the caller.

What a long way AI has fallen from its early glory days.

Randy Jackson may move into a mentoring role. Nick Jonas has already confirmed that he's being considered as a judge. And Charlie Sheen has expressed interest in being a judge. Words fail me here too.
