In real life Katherine H is on maternity leave - she just adopted a baby in either November or December. So this is how her absence is being explained.
It's funny I didn't really miss her. But wow it has been SO boring lately. I am bummed because this was my favorite show.
At the end of the show when Yang explained herself to Hunt starting with Burke and ending with Hunt (including the ignored pager call) - well, she was dynamic! That was the best part of the show; heck, maybe the season, so far. Now maybe they can have hot sex AND thriving careers.
This is probably the most medically inaccurate show to ever be put on television, but I like it anyway. It is one of the only prime time shows I watch, but I watch it for the story line, not the medicine.

I really liked the story line with Karev and the kid. I think he is turning into the best character on the show.
Thursday's new episode was actually really good, IMO! It was fun seeing Richard and Meredith's mom when they were young. The other stories were interesting too. And it was great to see how "Mandy" started her path to becoming known as the Nazi. Loved her hair. She looked so different...

Totally agree. In fact, I've loved the last two episodes. The love story between the two patients who never got together really touched me the week before, and this past week I loved seeing the history and how the various characters came to be who they are today. Richard's (the fomer Chief) speech was very dramatic too -- especially when he repeated the oath they had all taken as doctors.
I am not missing Izzie as much as I thought I would, I think they filled that void very well.
I totally agree with you.
