I remember reading earlier in the year that 3 main characters were going to leave the show. Supposedly after the 2011/2012 season, however. One was Cristina. By then the show might be wrapping it up anyway. I think Cristina will go back to her career. She's just going through some emotional stuff right now.

I loved the trauma training, and the little gal resident that I can't stand came through this week when she jumped in the ambulance and threatened to run Owen down. And what's up with Christina? Just what is she blaming Meredith for anyway? Glad at least Callie came back at the end.

Actually, whatever reason she leaves, it will be awesome when she comes back and has to face Cali...ooooooooooooooh....

Just watched - so glad Arizona left Callie. Can't stand Callie. As an individual Dr. around the hospital she's sort of entertaining and even as a casual friend she does ok, but she's a self-centered whiney baby in relationships. Hated what she did to George. Makes every partner totally miserable.
Christina - PTSD is what they make it look like. The reality is a traumatic event sort of rewires the brain. So if she just 'gets over it' that's totally unrealistic and the are doing PTSD an injustice. She should be put in PTSD rehabilitation on the show to educate people.

Just watched the last eppie and I'm glad Callie is staying too but sad that another relationship broke up. I've always had it in the back of my mind that she and Mark would end up together in the end.
First time I've seen Christina smile with her eyes when she said she quit because she doesn't want to anymore. Yes, Gies, having her go to PTSD therapy would be a great storyline and possibly help lots of people go get the treatment they need.

So true about PTSD. Cristina loves surgery. She needs therapy and maybe eventually she can return to it. My DH still has PTSD from the war in Vietnam...it's not easy. And Mark should be with the woman he loves...Lexie.

I understand that if they have her get over it might not look real, but it's a tv drama show. Most of it doesn't look real. Denny and Mer's mom are 2 of the biggest non real story lines. I've never heard of someone looking at a tv show and saying "I think I'll go get help b/c they did". I'm not saying that to be a smart aleck, I'm saying it b/c I just want the story to move on.

Nicole, I meant that maybe someone will recognize something in Christina's "fear" and maybe realize that they have something wrong with them too because of a traumatic episode that happened to them. Not because of the character per se. I really hope they do not sweep Christina and her problems under the carpet.
